While the concept of "voting on flash" is good, it may be flawed as it can be abused -- people who hate a flash may communicate with others to create a network that mass-votes flash either zero or five, with the former being widespread before. Tom suggested that it may be removed in the new version of Newgrounds (after the redesign), but it will still be abusable as many accounts can be created and replaced every day. It is yet to be seen whether there's a leak-proof solution for this.

I have a bath. It's so much better because I know how much water I use, much better than when I leave the shower on for x amount of time, and with access like that, I could keep using it for a longer period, wasting more water. With a bath you're only confined to the size of the bucket, and you know you're wasting more water if you take more from the tap -- time flies by if you're having a shower, so you waste more water as a result.

Well yeah, considering Xgen has a sitelock, that meant it should have been flagged. Surprisingly (not?) it passed, so it was taken into review. It was stolen from xgenstudios all right.
Also, what perks do you have being a member? If you don't need to join to post stolen submissions here, what's the benefit? Also, if I'm not allowed into the Barracks, can't I just keep it to a small ring of people outside the barracks? Apart from the fact it may be flagged more, what's the benefit? Will you be accepted if you post more stolen submissions by other authors? I have a ton of these questions, all unanswered.

I'd miss you if you did, you're one of the few 08ers I know that have good posts.

Sometimes, if there's something that's left out in WP that I know, then I usually add to it. I later either a) get thanked or b) nothing happens; content stays there. It's a step up from when I edited it maliciously only to see it disappear before my eyes in a split second.

It's a somewhat bad idea -- you've just covered the judgement process. They've had audio mods to check your audio, but that's it -- it doesn't get any score unless the author or others vote on it. Unlike other portals, the flash portal was the foundation of NG -- I don't think people would be very happy if it got changed.

As for "autovoting", yes, I think that instead of a timer that's implemented, authors can just use the NG API and maybe it can trigger a listener that activates the voting...who knows. But that may be a bad system as well, if the last frame never reaches, say, maybe the author put "stop()" a frame before the end? Not sure really.

All in all, we can't change the way people vote. Let them just be as they are, some day or the other they'll need to recoup all the lost blams that they could've got.
