Topic: Voice Actor Wanted

Right, i'll get straight to the point: im in my final year of university, and am doing a 2D animated short.

it will be a trailer for a potentially animated film. it will be a light hearted gangster b-movie. it requires a narrator to voice "the job" to the audience.

the male voice actor needs to sound like humphrey bogart - if you don't know who he is then here is a video:

if you're interested then PM me

thanks

Topic: Best way to start selling music?

Posted: 09/09/09 12:21 PM

Forum: Audio

if you want to sell, upload your shit to tunecore, shell out the costs it'll be fine. start by getting a fanbase, maybe through websites like myspace etc etc

promote yourself big time, its not easy.

OR like someone said, record deal then bam. dont expect massive money though whatsoever

yes i beleive that. i get it all the time. i've found usually i sleep, see an event, think its just random crap, wake up force myself to remember the dream and then wait.

what usually happens is that you dont realise its a premonition/precognition until the event is happening itself. a great way around this is to remember the dream, and looks for signs before the event itself happens.

takes a while to do, but say the actual event is a few hours away, i usually start seeing things that will make me remember the dream first, and then i just wait until everything fits into place. bleh its complicate to explain

Topic: Program for Remixing Tracks?

Posted: 09/07/09 10:17 AM

Forum: Audio

standard program for cutting music: Audacity (its free)

BUT

starting off mixing, you can use something called Virtual DJ - its terrible but allows you to get the basic jist

i currently use Mixmeister fusion for mixing. you just have to fiddle EQ until you (sort of) seperate certain things. although it will sound choppy. also, hit up youtube.

type in the track name, then "instrumental" - occasionally some sexy individual has posted up the seperate layers of the track.

to be honest, i use my music software for remixes, as opposed to mixing software. hope that helps

that thread looks awful though, there aren't really descriptions and it will require hours of sifting before i even get anywhere near what im looking for!

i figured it'd be easier just to throw a thread up!

also im pretty sure there arent very many producers for these sort of genres, hence why i feel the need to thread it.

Righto. You can update the file that is associated with the link as much as you like up until Oct. 1st.

ah, not meaning to be a cock, but the song i was trying to upload IS an update of the demo i originally posted (rude) but with a different name (LotD)

although i removed the song whilst i changed it. i can post the 2 songs if you like to prove my point!

im not sure what you mean by associated link though!

again, apologies, but just to clarify.

hello nas - i took down my earlier track because im mixing it with a track by Solus (remix thread of his/hers)

- im wondering if (as it is the same demo with added shit) im allowed to upload it (With solus permisson - obviously it'll have the original title of the track with "Genjo Remix" in brackets somewhere)

i looked at your pre-requisites

its catchy as fuck, commercially ;)

Price for one track: £1.00

Thank you for your appreciation. This is Volume 1 of the album. More will come soon and they will be longer and better and obviously more epic!

P.S: So far there are only 4 songs online. Overall there are 7. WAV files are huge and are about 70MB each. I will upload the rest tomorrow. Have a nice day!

-DJ OverDoseD-

you have abused Blutonium Boys VOL.2 - its kinda bad when people recognise the sample packs you use - just for future reference
