One of those fireworks that are supposed to go off really high in the air (a mortar) exploded in a PVC pipe about a foot away from me. I honestly know now why they call it 'getting your bell rung.'

One of my best friends growing up made homosexual butt-love to a gay boy who had a crush on him because he 'had feelings for him.' and used that as his justification for why he wasn't bisexual/gay.
