Wow... I hadn't realized this guys thread.
First of all... what the hell is going on here, i'm kinda confused...
And after reading what he wrote, i'm hoping he doesn't self harm himself because of this, that would concern me... You need to calm down.
Seriously there's no need get yourself upset like this, i would like to help you if i can.
From it looks like, these images are not at their best quality, have you considered using a program like Photoshop to re-modify and sharpen the images? otherwise i recommend gimp.
i also can't tell how these were put on here, you stated you had no scanner am i right?
This could make things difficult but not impossible, For example,
you could always revamp the comics and use a program like flash, this would give you plenty of room to make improvements on your illustration, because if there's one thing i know, digital art has a habit of being completely flexible around modifications.
I'm afraid not one of these are readable, the only things i can make out are the certain characters and setting you've put into it, it looks promising.
I hope this was helpfull.

Also her foot looks a bit small compared to the rest of her. Although sometimes that can be considered more of a "stylistic choice", her pixel form has big feet. :P
This seems like an interesting concept, and I'll be keeping tabs on this thread. ;)
I hate hands! but yeah i noticed it too ill correct that once its in colour, but take it from me when adding any drawn character in pixel form, it's a Nightmare.
In some cases like recent games i have seen, it seems perfectly normal to scale up the body parts to a level where its not completely chibbish or exaggerated, if that makes sense, an example would be a game like Skullgirls.
Usually it all makes sense when they are animated for a purpose.
This is Very good colour work, was this done with photoshop CS6 or CS5?

You just have to keep in-mind how big the animation is. A huge animation (a lot of data) is going to keep the preloader from doing its job effectively, I would think.
That's good news and the animation loop wouldn't be any bigger than 50kb, or is that overdoing it?
Do you know how this is done? because it can't be as simple as slapping a gif in front of the key-frames, i wouldn't expect it to work without some sort of format.
I posted this question on the wrong thread earlier by the way,and i was told this was the right place.
so just out of curiosity, is it possible to merge an animated Gif to a pre-loader.
I can only assume it has to be treated as a graphic symbol subject to the number of frames to be required for this to
be somewhat achievable, if it is, then is there a frame limit if the animation was to be looped?

I've never loled so much in life with this Anime...
Lucy kinda reminds me of Asuka Langley if she was on crack and had no sense of humor..
The definition of a Sadistic solution, is usually someone painted all over the walls with their own carcass and blood, all this to be loved?
Makes me wonder if that's where the movie Chronical got the idea from, naww that's just a coincidence, it has a similar concept...
Aside from not always making sense and jumping the shark at every driven moment, I still kinda enjoyed it, a point of view is usually seen with the most unexpected, but don't judge me own i how i feel in seeing young children having their torso being ripped from their body, not to mention her motives are usually a Genocide of HATE and revenge, it just soo unfortunate she can't take the heat when people piss her off..
Where's a shrink when you need one?
Windows media player (latest and most updated version with all codecs.)

Thank you, if you're into action packed movies this is worth a watch when it's finished,in august i'm hoping to post the first one up on here, once i've managed the file size problem..
I did post a Deleted Scene for size and quality test, keep in mind that is not the final look of the project.
For the time being my absence will be apparent as i'm currently lip syncing what my fellow voice actors have done for me,
And i can tell you, i hate lip synching lol.

I am very proud of this.
You should be, its pretty well done, you capture perception pretty well, and the scene has a great level of depth too.
Out of curiosity how do you manage with the dirt? i'm familiar this kind of technique but i would assume alot of care had to be put into it, when keeping it clean, my thoughts would be that you put a blank piece of A4 paper over it when closing the pad.

Lol i know the feeling, especially for art like this, but drawing hands aren't as difficult as they seem, you just have to understand the angle..
I Love the pose, but her torso is too small, it's like she has a very small ribcage.
other than that i think these arts are beautiful, including the landscapes..

if the answer is what i think it is ((none of them)) then would you be able to post something you did from scratch?
He wasn't trying to offend you, he was just asking what original work have you done yourself..
I consider this a friendly feedback or request.

Well then it pleases me that i am the first.
At 6/20/12 01:42 PM, Dracomancer wrote: References are used either for angle....pose....anatomy...texture...or lighting perspective etc etc. It's rare that an artist is able to draw something from them head and have it come out super accurate.
That's an insult not only to me, but to other artist on this forum, i've seen some FANTASTIC work on here, and yes it's a style they used from their own initiative, without needing a reference.. I think you forget that "reference" and "inspiration", are 2 separate things..
You do not need to look at Anime to get pose Lighting Texture or even the Anatomy, this is quite simply not true,
I myself use real people to capture poses and angels, photographs work perfect for me..
A reference doesn't need to be something visual, the definition of a reference can relate from something you have read, it can be an experience in yours or someone else life, it can be just about anything, this will help your mind reflect, and produce the ultimate image for your own fiction or fantasy..
At 6/20/12 01:42 PM, Dracomancer wrote: Most artists, such as myself, can not draw something unless it's right in front of them to see. I'm a very visual person. It's how I roll. If I've drawn an anime, for instance, enough times for some odd years, I can usually remember the style of it enough to actually draw stuff from my head without looking at anything.
You would probably be right, but that doesn't define what an artist is, to rely on an image which has already been produced, is quite simply mimicking it doesn't show skill it just shows good coordination.
At 6/20/12 01:42 PM, Dracomancer wrote: Someone has offered to scout me however, so its all good.
Your pointless bragging isn't necessary, nor dose it make you any better respecting the feedback,
we know you like anime, I like anime too, but to take an idea that's already been done, has no meaning
unless it's just typical fan art.
Starting with a stick man isn't to say you shouldn't, as all designs are usually planned that way in a Exo skeleton format..(Usually considered as story board level, but even then you have to have a decent level of drawing skills.)
What you must remember is stick-men can't be taken seriously, the reason being is that they don't have any personality, and i'm afraid in order to be a good animator, you need to know how to draw.
It's essentially required, and is something that cannot be neglected for animation.
From the moment you plan the platform and theme, the resources are solely dependant around you to supply the needs for the project, it's always handy to work in teams, and with experience, you will conjure up new upgrades and ideas for your story and your character, design...
I only recently Changed the look on one of my characters which can be found here, because i didn't like his old look.
keep in mind, this is after 2 years of developing the same character, this is usually referred as a revamp..
Hope this helps good luck.

I've used a bunch of converters but they're either watermarked or really shit quality. The best thing I've had so far is the .avi format which Flash let's you export to but it doesn't show movie clips and random little circles keep showing up on the video. I've also used video capture software but it misses out frames of the animation and ruins it considerably.
Does anyone know how NG artists manage to put their stuff on YouTube? I know it can't be that hard but I'm being a complete dumbass right now. Thanks for reading
I'll Admit Converting to Youtube's format is a pain, but it's not impossible, it really dose depend on how big your project is..
I could talk for 2 hours on which is the best way to convert, but it wont make any difference I've known they're always going to be flaws in converting from flash, unless you upload it directly from Flash pro CS6, from what I've heard i think its possible to do that without loosing it's quality..
I'm hearing alot of hype with Sonic 4 and i still haven't played it.. lol
This is one of the main characters which is from the project i'm currently working on.
This current sprite is an older version of him, and so i don't use it anymore..
This current Version is obsolete since my team redesigned his look.
The Updated version can be seen here.
This character portrays the look as seen on the first poster, but since most of the characters had been re-modified in their looks, its more than likely i will be making a newer poster..
