Topic: Digitized Sprites...

Hey guys. I'm planning on making a River City Ransom remake/sequel type game using digitized sprites. I'm going to use a camera to capture the footage and convert them into sprites. I don't want them to be all blocky around the edges, or have bad animation quality. I want the quality of the sprites to be good (E.G. Mortal Kombat) but, I really don't know what program I should use (maybe photoshop?), or how to make them look good. Any pointers?

Bionic Commando on PS3 has about 13 people playing it. I tried to find another lobby besides that one, and there isn't.

only thing else you could do it try it on another CD, maybe even a blank dvd. Just reat them like a floppy and it should work. I don't know what you'd be doing wrong.

no it's not just one CD, its ALL CDs. I have tried 3 different ones, even one that I knew worked because it was the same one I used on my brother-in-laws PS3

Make sure your checking the data disk mp3 files in the music tab. It wont display the mp3 files in the Video tab, or the Photo tab.

Your probably trying to look at the data disk in the Videos tab, which is why the ps3 doesn't display anything.

Again just look at it from the right tab, and the ps3 will display the correct file formats it recognizes for that specific tab.

I was on the right tab, but even if I wasn't I have these three file types on there: MPEG, MP3, JPEG
So it should have recognized the video file if i was in the video tab, but it didnt recognize ANYTHING. no pictures, videos, or music.

Or you can set up a media server but that's more trouble than it's worth.

I would, but I don't own one. :(

You don't need controlls as it is a strategy game. To make buildings, you move over one of the little grey pentagons on the left, and then hold B for Barracks, or T for Tank Factory. Tell me what you think, or what I should add.

pretty cool!

Yeah, he WROTE eragon. It's a lot easier to write than it is to animate. Almost everyones taught how to write when they're a kid. Not only that, but the kid who wrote Eragon was smart. You, obviously, are not.

I thought you could put Liveswif stuff on Newgrounds! How do you do it? When I try to sumbmit stuff it says "Error-You are attempting to upload a file with the extension: .lmv Your file must be one of the fallowing extensions: .swf" Then I changed the extension to .swf and it said "Error- The file you've uploaded does not appear to be a valid flash file" What do you do?

I am not spamming for one thing, and I'm not being sarcastic. I did find a 872 page book and it cost $59.99 to be exact. I guess you are right though IT MAY pay off. I have a 650 page book on HTML so I guess it wouldn't hurt. But I still think that is too much money
