I'm looking for a talentedflash movie creator to make a flash movie about a friend of mine's idea. I would do it myself but I don't have the time for it. Yeah I could go down to mobiusfactor and check it out. It would be much better just to have some kind of tutorial to reference whilst I'm working, so then i can just get things done straight away.

1) Download TextAloudMP3 its great
2) U can stream the sound and cut it off but adding a blank keyframe where u want to stop it (where you add the sound there is something below it that usually says "Event" change that to "stream"). OR where you add the sound there is something below it that usually says "Event" change that to "start" where you want the file to end. Insert a keyframe where u want it to stop. Select the sound you wanna use as usual but on this keyframe change "event" to "stop"

Open your flash movie

go to file>import

import the sound you just made

If you don't understand the flash tutorials then you wont be able to do anything. They are as easy as they come.

There are tutorials on flash itself. Look at those and learn them. Thats the essentials of flash that you need to know. Once you're comfortable with the easy stuff you can check out sites like http://flashkit.com which has lots of tutorials on it.

To get sprites from a game...

1> Get an emulator and the rom of the game you want and get to the place in the game you want to rip.
2> Press the "Print Screen" button. It's above the Insert button.
3> Open up some kind of graphics program like photoshop or whatever and edit.

Done.

My main advice would be to not do a video game flash movie. There are FAR too many of them and the majoirty of them are crap. I'm sick to death of mario movies.

I've been trying desperately to find a tutorial about making beat em ups with flash. I am comfortable with actionscript and I have made games before (such as kindergarten killer), but would like a tutorial to help me be organised and so I know i'm heading in the right direction. I would like to know if anyone knows of a tutorial specifically about making beat em ups or if anyone can help me out. Thanks.

If it wasn't for you unjustifiably giving my game a bad review because you were bitter this argument would never have started. Quit acting like me and Razoric started the whole thing.

I like seeing Razoric and RiftMaster argue, because they're both dicks anyway. RiftMaster, you can't say you're a good artist because all you did was get a few photos and put them on crappy bodies. Razoric you make countless video game parodies about gay people. I think you're in denial.

As for me, I don't think my humour is cliched, just look at the diversity of my flash movies. It seems that video game parodies or movies featuring Tom Fulp get stupidly high scores. I steer away from that (although I did make a skate or die parody once). Whether I get portal feature or not I like to be original. Do you see any other games where you have to shoot kids with guns, kill Arnold Schwarzenegger and escape from Police Helicopters? I thought not. I don't mean to sound cocky like you guys but when you unjustly insult my flash work I get a little annoyed.

And as for you RiftMaster saying you deserved portal feature... the only reason you got half a decent score is cause wade linked to it on the front page. Anything Tom or Wade likes the NG Users seems to love (no offense to you Wade and Tom). I wouldn't be so bitchy if you hadn't given my game (Kindergarten Killer) a bad review to get ratings down. It was the only bad review out of all of them, how pathetic are you?
