I think it means did you trace it or did you look at someone while you drew it.

Yeah here's some of my recent "art". And since I'm always short of an idea can you guys help me think of something?

Oh yeah and it's my first time drawing a female character so please tell me how I did! Also it's my first time having a drawing span a few pages.

Time Spent:12 hours

This took me quite a while since it didn't all fit on one piece of paper and spanned at least 3, plus it's been a while since I'd drawn wings plus evening everyting and shading, but overall I think it's quite nice. I used photoshop to color the clouds and to clear up the drawing and thats about it.

Oh and hey Occluded how does the drawing look now?

Did you use any photoshop filters? Kinda seems like it...filters tend to be quite noticeable and generally frowned upon, but if not then hey, just ignore my comment.

I see you spent a lot of time on the wings, but the feathers seem to be a little too layered and short for a wing of that size. Perhaps you could use a better reference photo next time.

Perhaps some specular highlights on the blade to make it stand out would be nice too...differentiate the texture from the other black things in the area. It could be made of cardboard for all we know.

The cloth is generally well done, I'm feeling the texture, and the aura is pretty sweet. Perhaps some vague forms of tortured souls at his feet would make it look better. Because that's what I 'saw' when I first looked at it.

Yeah, the wings look like that because the picture cuts off, soon I'll get a drawing pad and I'm gonna fix it up real nice, oh thanks for the tortured souls idea, although I'll probably draw them as skeletons. :)

I recently drew this in one of my classes and later scanned it up and modified it a bit. I already posted this in the Art Critique thread to get info on how it looks. But I created this topic so that you guys could help me draw him in different positions. like descending from the air or something. If you guys also want to critique then go ahead.

Yeah by the way the reason it's like 6 hours is because I took forever on the wings. It got kind of harder towards the edges of the paper. So what do you guys think. If you guys like it I could upload some of my older works. This is the most recent one I've finished completely.
