if you have the second picture of your sprite walking then all you gotta do is on your fist frame put the first step and on the second frame put the next step and so on... then you just play it..
thats how i do it ....

File > Export > Export Movie.
Choose "Animated GIF" from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the dialog that appears.
Pick a name > Save > Adjust settings.
