As a vegetarian, I hate the tactics PETA use to try to recruit others to be vegan. There are many health, ethical, environmental, or religious reasons to avoid eating meat, but instead of trying to guilt people into not eating beef or pork or chicken, they should be worrying about the conditions of the animals before slaughter.

I never try to force anyone to conform to my diet. I have no issues with anything other people eat, as long as they are informed of the issues. Information is more important than shock or guilt, really. And if people truly know what goes on in the industry and they make informed choices, then all is fine.

(I also have the same feelings about diamonds, but yeah. That's my two-cents.)

Yes, only sometimes. It gets lonely at night when I am all by myself in bed and... wait, wrong story.

I am reading this! I am commenting! But let's see how long I hang around before people start pissing me off again, haha.

Yes, pretty much anything with Nathan Fillion in it. Alan Tudyk is also acceptable, but he is my celebrity boyfriend, and I do not share well.

I just finished reading Less Than Zero by Bret Easton Ellis. Disturbingly wonderful. I feel all empty and hallow, emotionally, inside.

Speaking of Barbara Gordon, I loved what was done in DK. You're watching the movie, you know Jim's got two kids. Anytime Jim mentions Barbara, he means his wife, not his daughter. The little girl is never mentioned by name, she's only mentioned as "my kids" or "my children". You never see her face, only the back of her--or she's in shadow.

I was just saying this earlier, myself. I thought it was a good move to have him wear makeup--makes him more psychotic. In different scenes, you could see creases in the foundation (must have not moisturized first) and bits sweating off. It made him more real. Never once did I think "this character is unbelievable."

It looks good! I colored over the faded hair, which kinda looked like old lady grandma wig pale blue/lavendar. I mixed one part Cnady Pink, one part Blue Haired Freak, and two parts Cherry Bomb. Awesome.

as it began to fade, it looked like i had explosive diarrhea on my head)

I'm so sorry for the explosive diarrhea. I feel your pain. I dyed my hair green once, without bleaching, and it looked an awful lot like baby poop.

I didn't really like the blue! I actually thought it dulled my eyes, and made them look rather flat. The pink/red colors really make them look good, like now.

The blue looked like this a couple weeks ago. The pink should end up like this again, unless the leftovers from the blue cause conflict.

Either way it will be interesting!

I only bleach my hair before I put another color on top. Latest color was Special Effects "Blue-haired Freak" which was not a very good color for me. It looks much better now that it's faded. Up next I think is "Candy Pink" again.

I was 24 when I bought my first car, and 25 when I bought my first new car. Now I'm 28 and getting rid of first new car to go back to using buses as my primary source of transportation. My car is nice and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, I just really have no need for it anymore. I'd rather put my car payment and insurance money into a savings account... or better yet, buy a new computer.

I was hoping to make it an annual thing, but I'm not sure. Let's see what happens come September.

I would like to do another show in a month or so, with a theme. It's an idea in my head right now. More details as it develops into something solid.

Doesn't matter if it's the worst song Nirvana ever recorded, it was counted as the greatest because of its influence. That's what the countdown is all about. Last year, it was much lower on the countdown, I'm glad to see it where it is this year.
