i most certainly can play source games without steam. i downloaded counterstrike once from some crappy cd i found and it didn't tell me i needed a steam account. then i was confused why i couldn't play online.

I agree. I really think they should just cancel Bear Grylls show. Les is really take a bigger risk and doesn't get help from the crew like Bear simply because there is no crew.

i'm watching survivorman right now (2 episodes back to back) and they're showing man vs wild next (also back to back). when i watch them both, i see how horrible bear's show is. and i hate his accent.

Survivorman actually goes through all the survival shit AND shows survival techniques AND doesn't have a camera crew on his ass all week but instead carries all the gear with him. the only thing bear grylls does is eat elephant shit and get himself out of a hole once in a while (asshole)

whenever i run a source game, it sets the video settings to what's recommended but i have to reset them because my computer gets a little laggy if i don't. when i leave the game and come back, i have to reset them again but that's not the case for all my source games. is there some box that i mistakenly unchecked that does this shit? i remember that this problem didn't happen before i messed with the directx...

it's not flat because of the color job, the anatomy of the outline makes it look flat.
