READ THIS, IT'S PURE MADNESS !!!
I know exactly why you encounter this problem with your X-Box 360. First of all, Microsoft sucks at making video game consoles. Their first X-Box had cable problems, some people were injured because the cables went on fire after excessive gameplay. At least they replaced all the cables for greater ones that had no problems. But even if it was due to excessive gameplay, never a console other than the X-Box had this problem before, even the Genesis and the NES never went on fire! Now it's the 360's turn. Lots of people and I mean thousands (it was proved) of gamers had the Ring of Death problem. This console sucks, there's absolutely no problems with the others normally. The console has very few new things, doesn't have innovated features, is really too big, costs too much, doesn't have a lot of variety of games and has a lot of problems. Come on, buy a Nintendo console, they always have something new and interesting. Take the Wii for example, it doesn't cost much and it's the best thing ever. And did you know that if throw your Gamecube at full force on the wall enough to make a hole, it will still works? It was tested and I have the proof. Once, my uncle was really angry and threw my GC on the door and it made a hole in it. But the console was working fine, except for the broken disc-tray. Then the same thing happened to one of my friend, his fool of a dad threw his GC on the floor and kicked it, it was still working. The same guy have a friend who was stupid enough to throw his GC from the third floor and it still worked! I'm not finished with examples, I was at a party at a friend's place and there was a guy who had a lot of money and was in a war of DS vs PSP against another fellow. He was for the DS and he decided to prove that it was better and he asked if he could buy the other guy's PSP. We were strangely surprised, the PSP's owner refused but when the rich boy showed him more than enough money to buy a new PSP, he accepted. He asked us to go outside and what he did was purely intense. He first put the PSP on the road, went in his car and rolled over it! Sure, it was in pieces! Then he did the same thing with the DS and it was still in one piece and it was working! Try it if you want, but I'm not responsible for the loss of your possessions. So please, when you have all the advantages (or at least most of them) on Nintendo's side, but their consoles! But I want to make things clear, I do have a PS2 and like it, I still prefer Nintendo but there are great games that aren't available for it, so I have a PS2 (and I'll buy a PS3 once the cost is lowered below $150) for it's great games like RPGs, the kind of games it has the most. I also got the same problem with the X-Box, like I said, I really hate it. But if I ever find one for like $20 (not a used one), I'll buy it for sure (I'm talking about the first one, not the 360) because there are a few great games that are exclusive to X-Box. They're rare but it could be worth a try, some examples are Halo and Fable. If a miracle happen and the 360 lowers its price a lot (for less than $100) and make a version with no Ring of Deaths, I'll buy it. Now, if you read all of this, thanks a lot and have a cookie :) !
