also way to finally branch out and connect your site,

you have enough artists and people here btw to make a real store, with like hundreds of shirts and games etc
the only games they have are alien hominid and castle crashers
and they don't exactly have a huge amount of products to sell yet, they'd need to expand the store a lot first

there are tons of problems with having a real store

The real next step is 'Free Tour Fridays!'

Every 4th friday of the month NG opens it studio/office to the world for a small nominal fee (free). Nothing will get accomplished cause of all the tourists/users mucking everything up. Then before showing the paying guests the door, blam you throw some shirts at them & make them pay. There's your store right there, plus a good way for me (the users/fans) to see the studio.

Someday.

(not that I still wouldnt go here, but you get the point.) is there anything that could be done about this (sarcastic comments expected) so I might be able to get a Awesome T-Shirt, mabye the Tankmen Shirt?

I know theres not many ways this could be done without alot of hell for you, so i'm sorry for that. I just felt I needed to ask.
thats a fair enough question..
maybe put everything in your cart first, THEN make em come in when you're on the checkout page

they'll never know

AtomicToast,

Or when you get the store front page click on T-shirts & Apparel, no penicorns there. Just show that page to your folks, hope something works out for ya.

I actually used some Ctrl Z. I did the original concept in flash using a pixel mod that rtil used in one of his pieces. Then I took to the streets, not as clean as flash but still worth wild.

Haha, I wish. Sorry for the confusion; what I ment was I paid the same price for 3 pieces of chalk from eternityarts as I did for 65 pieces of chalk from Crayola. The actually piece posted here took 6 & 3/4 pieces = $7.00

Yeah, I bought a box of 65 colors for $3.50 of Crayola sidewalk chalk, haha. Needless to say those colors suck so I found good stuff at eternityarts, the only place I actually found chalk. And I paid about the same price for 3 pieces as oppose to 65 hah, but well worth it.

However I did waste more chalk than I needed to. The concept of blending didn't cross my mind until I was doing Totoro's stomach (the last part I filled) and ran out of color, so I started smearing it around with my hand. It covered pretty well.

If anyone makes an attempt at some sidewalk chalk art, I'd love to see it, any art for that matter ^-^

Me and my boy are planning to do a Toe Jam & Earl piece in about two weeks, I'll have pics of that when the time comes.

I was actually reported to the police for "spray painting" after the cops showed up they clearly recognized I was not using paint. They said it was cool as long as it's not profane or offensive.

I think the cop even liked it, he was staring at it for quite sometime and was real cool about the whole thing.

So until I'm told otherwise, I'm gonna be doing a lot more "chalking."

The chalk isn't too pricey but it aint cheap either.

I dig your work mraw, I'd love to see ya put up a piece some where.

So I made my first attempt at a chalk piece this past weekend. Ran out of colors for the stomach but overall I'm happy with it. Why "bomb" with chalk? Because it's temporary, cost more than spray paint, and is overall inefficient, haha. Regardless, I enjoyed it.

Anyone out there know of any "chalk bombers?"

I appreciate the reply speedmetalmessiah, what I'm looking for is a softer and more mellow sound that is similar to this piece Elevator Music. If you've never seen the opening to an infomercial or wheel of furtune it would be something like that. I'm looking for a short loop to apply to an infomercial I'm filming for school for a prodcut called "Monster in a Bottle." The sound will be mainly ambient as people will be speaking and conducting interviews over the music. If you have any suggested links to this style of music I'd appreciate it. Sorry if I still didn't provide you with enough clarity.

To the point, I'm looking for an infomertial/game show type sound. I've been through a bunch of pieces listed under "miscellaneous" but have only found one piece that I might truely consider. If any artists or fans have any info on where I might find this type of sound or a direct link it would be greatly appreciate. Thanks.

If you're willing alternativesolution and have the time, I can send you a sample read and you can give it a go. You could even voice one of the actors in the infomercial as well, you're call just let me know. I appreciate the reply.

The quality of the recording doesn't have to be top notch, and I am specifically looking for a main narrator. However, I could also use voices of all ages, for voices of the actors as well as the audience so whatever might be produced I'd be willing to check it out, Main narrator or not.

How's it going fellow NGers,

I'm not on here much, nor does anyone even know who I am. Never the less I have come seeking assistance. I'm producing a small infomercial for my college english class with a due date of 16 Apr 08. What I'm seeking is a/multiple voice talent(s) that might do a short 2 minute or less read for "Monster in a Bottle."

The target market for this product is people of all ages. What would you do with your very own monster? If anyone is willing to help and feels that they might have a decent voice for cheezy stereotypical infomercials, then by all means contact me ASAP.

Any other questions or additional info needed just let me know and we'll take it from there. I appreciate anyone who took the time to view this, help or no help. Thanks.

This is rediculous. I'm having the same issue. I'm right in the middle of an animation & I go to edit the symbol and the brush tool is jacked. Let me specify what 'The-Scourge' is saying.

*When you use the brush tool to make a line or it disappears right after you release the mouse button.

*But if you use the brush tool to create a circle or outline, it wll fill in the entire outline as soon as you release the mouse button.

I just want to go back to using the brush for lines as I was doing early, I don't know what changed but it certainly wasn't the 'Brush Mode' or 'Alpha.'

Topic: Animators Help!? Any Skill Level.

I'll try to be as specific as I can without writing out a whole chapter from my book. Basically I am creating a time line for "Teacher Preperation" From The Medieval Period Til Today. What It Will Consist Of It This:

-20 FPS
-550x400
The Timeline Periods Are In Order As Follows:
-Medieval Guild System
-Apprenticeship
-Early Formal Teacher Training Efforts (1400s)
-First Normal School: De Le Salle In Europe (1685) Samuel Hall In The US (1823)
-State Teachers Colleges (1920)
-and so on til Teacher Education Today!

What I'm doing is creating a movie clip for each frame/time line period. For instance the Medieval Guild System will be one frame but consist of a movie clip within that frame, with a knight in shining armor perhaps sitting a class room, with a small animation loop of him raising his hand or something.

Basically I am creating small visuals for a presentation, so I will be speaking about that time period and just have the animation run behind me. As I move onto the next period in the time line, I will click to the next frame of a small animation and so on (This is only an exmaple, comedy is encouraged).

If I haven't clarified what I'm lookin for enough I appalogize for wasting your time to read this. Thanks again for your inquiry. If you can supply any help please let me know ASAP. I have one person working on the Medieval Guild System Period already.

But also, I do not need full animations unless you're willing. Basically just simple drawings, backgrounds whatever. Anything I dont have to draw myself will save me time. Thanks again.

A favor is what I'm asking really: I have to copmlete a school assignment that I was nominated and chosen for. I have less than 2 weeks to accomplish it. It's a project for my Foundatins Of Education class. WHAT I'M ASKING FROM YOU?

If anyone has any tidbits, small clips, or symbols/buttons/movie clips whatever of anything you find in a classroom or school enviorment and don't mind sharing it with me, It'd be greatly appreciated. I'm doing a time line on "Teacher Preperation" from the midieval period to today, so anything anyone might be willing to lend me would be a great help.

You'll recieve total credit for your work. I'm doubtful on any help but I thought I'd give it a try. Regardless, thanks if you spent the time to even look at this. Peace
