Portal Defenders was great. The only thing that ticked me off was the wadolf blast. Once it hits you, you're pretty much helpless.

There are alot of shape animations here on newgrounds. But it's true that it only recieved this much attention after two of them made it to the front page. I can see alot of points being made in those animations made by Stamper, Johnny Utah, Egoraptor,...

Like how easy it is to tell a story just by adding a voice and making a shape go up and down. Pointing out the importance of storytelling and sound/voice acting.

It also brings out the point that they can just put any kind of animation they want on the FP. even a flash with just a blank frame. If you look at it this way I can see how it can seem disrespectfull for people who put alot of time and effort in their work.

But if you look at it from a conceptual point of view. There is alot to talk about.

Wow, this is an awsome surprise. Tnx Tom and everybody here at NG. Eventough I don't make that much noise compared to other artists, I want you all to know to know that the NG community has always been something very special to me. I rarely post but I do check the site daily multiple time to see what everybody is cooking.

Thank you all for sharing your animations and games with me as well during all these years.

P.S. I think there is a page in the 'one shot' colab by Almighty Hans with one of my works.

I believe 'Odysseys Tale' is stolen. The quality of the preloader are completely different then the animation itself. I'm also assuming that someone who had the trouble of making a coloured pencil fbf animation wouldn't put a copyrighted song like enigma on top of it.

I think this will be very helpfull for children to learn new things. The features look great to help them develop intelectually. I'm also glad to see wikipedia in there. I go there daily to look up things.
The fact that it runs on linux is in my opinion a good step towards opensource development and a logical choice of OS.

he could always draw the frames in flash, export it to photoshop for colouring and import it back to flash. but that can take a while :)

it all depends on what it is you are trying to achieve. using photoshop will increase the filesize alot so use it sparingly. If you want to make animations with photoshop then maybe you should try using after effects instead as those two go hand in hand.
