I know that, but the avi option still doesn't recognise movieclips, and when exporting as Quicktime, it doesn't export every frame, so you end up with a 'laggy' video file.

Hence why I need a swf to video converter, because they are capable of encoding every frame for a perfectly smooth video...in theory at least. I've used several, and though nearly working fine, none work brilliantly, so I'm asking if anyone can recommend one that they've used and that they rate highly.

Does anyone know of a reliable SWF to video converter program? I've tried several and none of them work properly: some add ugly watermarks, some don't encode properly, some can't handle audio, etc...

If anyone knows of a good SWF to video converter program that works near-perfectly, please let me know. I basically want it so I can add some animations to YouTube, but unfortunately they don't accept raw .swf files...

it used to be all flash, like you describe...but loading times were ridiculous...take a look for yourself in the 'vault' section, in the cartoon archive theres a link to the old site...it really was very unprofesional...
