I never said clones. I don't think you understand how uncommon and outlandish my tastes and interests are. I've only met a couple people that come anywhere near being able to relate to me.

I don't have to be exactly like someone to be friends with them. I would just prefer if we had some things in common so we have something to talk about.

I've often thought the same thing. I've noticed even I do it. I seem suspiciously proud of my Irish heritage, and I have no idea why.

LSD is superior.

Going to college for it would be great. Fantastic even. But it's only really necessary for the professional side of things. Don't wait until you're amazing to start churning out material.

Watch a shitload of tutorials, read The Animator's Survival Kit, practice drawing as much as you can, and get to work!

You don't have to be amazing right off the bat. I think flash is a real learn as you go type of thing. If you've got ideas, don't sit on them for too long. Get to animating!

Also, check out this dude. He's got a series of great flash tutorials if you're not sure what to do.

And Drawing With Jazza is pretty damn useful.

If you're new, and not sure what to do, video tutorials are the best place to start.

If you're going to go with flash as your animation choice, this guy, lilredheadcomics, has some great tutorials for flash. Honestly, this dude taught me how to animate. He might not be a great animator, and his voice can get pretty annoying, and he tends to ramble, but he knows his shit.

Also, another great flash tutorial series Drawing With Jazza is a great tutorial series.

Also, a must have for every animator is the book Animators Survival Kit, by Richard Williams. If you plan on animating seriously, you must give this book a read. It's so tremendously helpful it's hard to summarize really.
