! Definately interested, I've had a pretty serious hietus from the bbs, but I'm always down for some fantasy sports.

Additionally, with the Maple Leafs firmly in 15th place in the East, I'm getting increasingly stoked about the new baseball season, particularly since the Blue Jays might actually have an exciting team this year.

If Burnett could get consistent and guys like Chacin, Marcum or McGowan pitch like they've briefly shown they can, a decent starting staff sits in the wings behind Halladay. With the additions of Rolen and Eckstien, they might have a strong offence too, depending on the years had by Thomas, Rios, Wells and Hill. Also, if Ryan is able to prefrom like he did pre-surgery that would improve an already decent bullpen. However it is still looking unlikely that the Jays will be able to compete with the big boys like the Yankees and Sox.... Salary cap anyone?

Experience Points
Q: What are experience points?
A: Much like a traditional role playing game, registered users may acquire experience points and gain levels resulting in higher status.

The best reason to gain experience points is added weight to your votes. Users with an abundance of points will have the strength of multiple voters, meaning they can hurt the movies they hate and help the movies they love. We make the assumption that anyone who visits the site daily will have a better idea of what good content is, so frequent visitors have more influence over the rankings. Remember, you must be logged in for your voting power to be augmented!

Experience points also unlock secrets, which can be accessed from your Account Options page after you log in.

Q: How do I acquire experience points?
A: There are several ways to gain points:

Every day (by Eastern Standard Time), you may vote on at least five Flash Portal submissions to deposit ten experience points. Voting on more than five in a single day does not give you additional experience points.
When creating a Grounds Gold user account a user can earn a few extra points by signing up for mailing lists and creating a public profile.
Aside from the methods listed above there are no tricks or secret ways of boosting your experience. Anybody who tells you otherwise is either making jokes at your expense or trying to get you to serve them somehow

I'm not sure if this is something everyone is already aware of, but I found it pretty interesting.

Vote 756.

Marc Ecko, the owner of Barry Bonds' infamous record breaking baseball has elected to leave it up to the internets to decide the balls fate.

I voted outer space.

About this anime-man thing, as condesending as I may sound, 12 is way to young to start drug use of any kind. Just period. That puts you in what, grade 6 for christs sake?

I mean I was walking down the street a few days ago and this kid who looked about 11 came up and asked me for a light... and he pulled a cigarette out of his like fucking grade school bag, with his chubby childish fingers. It was the most pathetic attempt to act cool I had ever seen and just laughed at him and walked away. I realize cigarettes and marijuana aren't the same game, but the analogy applies for both.

Now to your defense of I have a high IQ, I'm smart and mature and all that jazz. That is actually a very bad thing to believe. I have read/skimmed your posts and for a 12 year old you aren't stupid, I might question the maturity with an alias like animeman15, but that is besides the point and I digress.

Now being smart tends to give you confidence in matters like this and you tend to believe you know what you are getting into, which as I said before is a bad thing to believe. The truth is, in the matter of drug use, all your preconceptions prior to actually taking that first hit are almost certainly wrong. The fact is you cannot know what to expect. The same narcotic effects everyone a little different and the same person doesnt even neccesarily get the same effect everytime. Some people act like complete fucking retards when they are high, something that is likely undesirable when you are 12 and will likely have to confront your parents after such an incident. Lets just say there are several different factors, many of which you wouldnt think of considering. It's like sex, no matter how much porn you watch or how often you jack off, you are not going to be prepard for what happens the first time you get laid. But in the end it is up to the individual to make up there own mind, so you just have to go with your gut, if you think you're ready and have no doubts at all, fucking do it.

Now after realizing I started the last 3 paragraphs with 'now', I feel way to much like one of those busy body preachy soccer moms, so onto my current state.

I have just had my first experience with hashish oil. Unfortunately I spilled some on my pants, good thing they were already covered in paint, because it appeared to stain something fierce. Anyways I poured the oil onto rolling papers and rolled it into a cigarette with some loose tobacco from a friends cigarette combined with a half filled dime bag of some spare cheap marijuana I had. The end result was perhaps more potent than any marijuana I had previously consumed and after almost a month of complete sobriety it is a very welcome treat before the start of the semester. In addition I watched the movie Reefer Madness for the first time after prodding from many people, and I must say it is the GREATEST unintentionally great thing I have ever seen.

Also I'm very tired and still a litte blazed right now, so I appoligize if parts or more likely most of this unneccisarily long post is incoherent and retarded.

I don't see how Part 1 can be better.

I listened to part 1 more, so i currently prefer it, but I think part 2 is probably better and will probably grow on me a lot more.

Also, Dream Theater is playing here in Toronto tommorow. Unfortunately I thought I had plans and now it seems too late to get tickets :( . Next year DT, Next year.

However I suppose a few artists I find that lend themselves to blazed listening are: 311, Afroman, Bob Marley, Iggy Pop, Jimi Henrix, Nine Inch Nails, Of Montreal, Pavement, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Velvet Underground and The Violent Femmes.

But in my opinion the greatest music to listen to high is Sublime, its so chill and just seems to work on every level.

My favourite songs would have to be: New Millennium, Trial of Tears, Space-Dye Vest, As I Am and Hollow Years. Although I'm also starting to really like Foresaken off Systematic Chaos.

There is no reason to fear death. Death is nothing to us, because if we are still alive death has not come and when we are dead, well it wont matter anymore. I used to fear death, ALOT, but you come to realize that fighting death is the ultimate futility. So now whenever I start to get worried about my mortality, I just doing something that reminds me of the beauty of life. My point of view may change when I get older or sick or something, but thats a whole different ballgame, I dont even want to THINK about playing at this point.

I'll join. Smallville is still a really cool show, even if it isn't quite as enthralling as it used to be. I didn't really like last season as much as the previous ones, as they dragged the plot lines out to the point where they were almost retarded. The best thing to come out of the whole season was the Lana/Lex subplot.

I'm hoping this upcoming season will be better though, Bizzaro promises to be interesting. I'm also glad that Kristin Kreuk will be back, she is stunning and her character adds a different dynamic to the show. As well I think they should get rid of Erica Durance? I think her name is. Yeah they introduced Louis Lane way to early and she doesn't really seem to fit into any of the story lines and those she is in seem really forced. It would be easy too, just say she got a scholarship to study Journalism or an internship at a foriegn paper or something like that.

Anyway, looking forward to the next season.

Heroin eh? That's pretty dangerous stuff, chasing the dragons tail and all. Very physically and mentally addictive, expensive and it takes its toll on the body. I wouldn't advise using it for too long, as I have seen people become addicts, so fast it would make your head spin. I mean sure you can handle it when you're young and a relatively experienced drug user, with minimal heroin in your system, but it doesn't take long to become that guy showing the needle holes on his body to anti-drug videographers or whatever. Admitidely it seems you already know much of the dangers and are pretty enlightened on the whole matter and after all it is the individuals choice what they want to do with there body, but you just have to be careful not to dig a hole deeper than you are capable of climbing out of.

Also, I watched part of a documentary called In Pot We Trust or something, I was high at the time and thought it would be interesting, but then again at the time I found The BowFlex commercial to be interesting, so my standards must have been really lowered. Turns out it was about how medicinal marijuana is being denied to even the sickest of patients and how one cancer patient was actually ARRESTED for taking a substance prescribed by his doctor. Horrible stuff, but I was tripping at the time so ultimately I just ended up getting jealous of some guy with mild glaucoma or something, who gets 300 marijuana cigarettes mailed to him from the government every month for free, lucky almost blind bastard.

People give children too little credit these days. I mean... Seriously.

"A British counselling service for children is adding extra staff to help child readers upset by the outcome of the last Harry Potter book.

Rowling revealed earlier in 2007 that two main characters would die in the final instalment of the seven-book series.

ChildLine, a confidential 24-hour help line for children, says readers could be devastated if several main characters die in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

"For many children, Harry Potter and his friends have become a major part of their childhood," Kate Trench, a senior supervisor with ChildLine, told The Guardian newspaper.

"Death and loss of any kind can make children feel upset, angry and afraid. The story could bring back unhappy memories for children who have lost friends, relatives or pets."

"I don't want Harry to die," said one young fan lined up outside British bookstore Waterstone's in London."

I'd like to join, I don't know if I smoke up enough to be classified as a "Stoner" per se, but I do indulge in the herb periodically, increasingly so actually, now that it is summer and I have little to occupy my time during the day.

At any rate, I am interested in cooking something up with marijuana. I have eaten hash brownies at a friends before, but it didnt get me very high, certainly not the full body high I have heard so much about, but I was a real novice back then and I have matured and learned much since then. So I want to try it for myself but I dont want to make cliche brownies, mainly because one time I tried to make normal browies... and they were lousy, so I doubt I would fair any better even with a special ingredient. So anyone have any suggestions of what to make? I heard cookies are a good alternative?

Also, is it worth the while to make pot butter, instead of just mixing it into the batter or whatever? And how about the rumors about the horrendous smell, I'm not sure my mom would appreciate me stinking up her kitchen too badly. Any help/tips or experience would be appreciated.

MSI is awesome, I'd like to join.

My favourite album is F.S.W.S.S.S (too lazy to type it out), because to me it is the pinnacle of MSI's sound. Also because Faggot is on there and when I heard first heard that song, I was like OMG I must hear more from this band.

Though, I have to admit I am becoming increasingly fond of their older songs: like Kick, Do Unto Others and Unsociable, they have a distinctly different sound from their newer stuff and the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me.

I'm not a member here or anything, but I am a little high right now so I decided to check out this thread and such.

So then I decided I had to post regarding the guy who needs to pass a drug test. I'm sure there are other methods, but if you really need to pass it 100% and our desperate enough, have you considered a Detox Product ? They are a little pricy and a tad extreme, but desperate times call for desperate measues. Generally most headshops carry them, so they aren't that difficult to obtain. Just a suggestion, unless it is too late of course.
