I've been poking back in now and again and realized most of the original regulars just pop in to random threads to troll or be cocksuckers. And I love it.

Yeah, I have a few songs with super low scores from people zerobombing the shit outta them for no reason at all. It makes me sad.

Welcome to the audio portal. It's an ongoing problem that may never get solved, but rest assured everyone suffers from them. Your best bet is to try and get a big hit to gain yourself some fans. (IE making the top 5)

As well as compression try adding a layer or two depending on what your kick needs. If you need more low end, add a deep kick, if you need more punch, try adding a snare.

I still dont think people are getting the whole demo aspect. It's supposed to be a clip of a song you're working on exclusively for the EP. And I think he said something like they have to be around 1 minute for a demo. Making a song, putting it on newgrounds disqualifies you from getting on to the CD with that song.

I actually dont even submit anything. I just open newgrounds then open and close my laptop until a dust particle flies in between the screen and the keys and somehow hits enter and creates a song for me.

1. Anyways yes mostly everyone on the top 5 is a beginner. hell, i have only been producing for 4 months myself. So I mean srry we cant all sound like teisto or Rob Mayth. which brings me to my second point.

That's the attitude that A) keeps people not trying as hard as they should

or B) basing their style and sound genuinely to those people. Stop comparing, start judging a song as a song, not as a comparison to a song

It really depends on what youre using the headphones for I think. I think most audio artists here would agree that a good pair of sennheiser or bose headphones are pretty solid.

I feel like people are getting what the whole DEMO thing entails. Most people are putting almost a full song that they'll change a bit... Is that really counted as a demo? Or just a complete unfinished track.

Cause if so I'll put heaven rd. 2 here and add a hi hat somewhere.

Well it's supposed to be in your News feed... However I for one don't see that as a very good place as no one really looks at most people's news posts.

The closest place for something like this would be the audio advertisements thread. It just makes a clutter if people make a thread for every band they like.

This forum is pretty much for the discussion on the creation of audio. Not the appreciation of it. There's a quote like that in the sticky, but thats all I remember.

So essentially, while this type of thread has been created a bunch of times they still aren't allowed 8/

Is there going to be another EP? Cause I've been working hard on a track and I'd hate to see it's efforts go to waste by putting it on newgrounds.

I just heard there was going to be one, but I'm not sure if it was a rumor or not.
