What up NG? I've been doing a lot of work since I got my computer fixed about a month ago.
First off, I just released a game Kenshino and I have been working on called Demonic Goat. It's a fun side scrolling game. Check it.
Second, I released Flash submissions on my site experimentally. We'll see how it works out. You have to be an approved submitter, and your work must be under 200k. These restrictions will hopefully give good work more attention. Show me some good flash and an EO membership and I'll consider approving you.
Third, EO has a new layout. So far people seem to like it.
I also made a movie called The Pesky Eyeball that got blammed at 50 votes that really wasn't bad enough to be blammed (in my opinion), so please watch that so I don't feel so much like I wasted all the time making it.
See all this new stuff at EntropicOrder.com
Check this puzzle game out (Virus Game). I thought it was a pretty novel idea.
And now for a bit about cheating:
---------------------------------
"mistary man steils cadny1" has 1,697 votes in only 4 days.
BaconBurgerClock has taken daily feature 3 of the last 4 days with shitty flash movies.
Gooseberry_Clock has a score of 2864 with 2964 votes on a picture at EntropicOrder.com. The next 13 highest rated pics are all by clocks, with at least 200 votes each.
The top 2 member sites on EntropicOrder.com are clock sites, with thousands of votes each, the next site having approximately 40 votes.
Both NG and EO don't require memberships to vote, but use IP addresses (I'm assuming) instead. I believe there are clocks who use IP spoofing to waste everyone's time.
Voting honestly becomes pointless. Submittions to portals based on rank become pointless. The portal loses quality submissions and features nothing but cheater's work, which is bound to be worthless.
Should voting be restricted to only email verified members, so that those members who obviously cheat can be more efficiently banned? Should accounts be verified by more than email? I recommend NG does something, because I plan to do something myself.
