Dont get me wrong, i love games with great music/sound, but i feel like its more of an addition than a necessity. A great game shouldnt be made great by the music, thats just ridiculous to me, BUT any game can be made better by music and sound. it can give a game its whole personality. In a lot of games I play, i just turn off the sound and music and play it fine and have the same amount of fun, but there are some games that I really prefer to have the music on (goemons great adventure) for either atmospheric or nostalgic value. I also remember seeing someone post about the three pillars of game development and saying theyre design, art and music. as far as i know, thats wrong. Theyre design, technology, and art. Music and visual art are both in the same category. Of course i didnt google this, im just going off of what i learned in my game design class.
Thanks guys, imma get right to studying.
I believe it's possible. If you don't include fanless accounts.
Oi, so I've been working on a song kinda seriously (as you can probs tell by my submissions, all my other stuff is shite), and you know, I've basically just been doing the music part so far... So melody, percussion, bass, whatever.
Anyways, I've found that I think I like the song, but I don't like how it sounds. If I play it on speakers it kinda sounds bad - it's not bad through headphones though.
It may just be me being overly critical, but I'm gonna go and say that it doesn't sound very good because I don't know how to EQ, mix, or master for shit. (I don't even really know what those consist of). So ya, got any tips?
Something specific that is the most immediate thing needing fixing is the bass I'd say. It's there, but I don't feel like it's powerful enough or... bassy... enough. If you know what I mean...
Looks like another skip, I'll just rate both.

Also I'm totally going to guess the Iron Maiden albums you have.....
Number Of The Beast, Powerslave, Piece Of Mind, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, Fear Of The Dark, and.....The Final Frontier?
I might be wrong with some of those ._.
HOLY SHIT lol! All of those, except take out final frontier and add somewhere in time. Holy crap how did you guess that?! xD
I hate Newgrounds when it comes to the audio player because it likes to fuck up all the time and it gets REALLY annoying.
Overall I'd give it an 8. It'd get a higher rating if it didn't keep fucking up....
Electric Wizard - Black Butterfly

I'm proud of you.
I don't really care about them really. Might be better off without them, but I have a good laugh at some of them sometimes.

This all actually makes me very sad and worried for my mother's mental health (jokes, but seriously, she's retarded). She insisted that I was ALLERGIC to milk chocolate when I was a child because I seemed to get a little hyper when I ate it. HOW FUCKED CAN YOU BE MOM!?! COME ON!

Sorry, but OCD doesn't seem very serious too me, and besides, obsessive behaviour does not affect my life in any way at all. If anything my OCD is just as mild as the next person's.

Oh no! That's WAY worse than ass burgers!
At 2/9/13 09:57 PM, H-K-S wrote: Now let's talk about you. I doubt if you have Aspergers, but I will ask you a few questions.
1) How smart are you/ What is your IQ range
2) Do you feel depressed at times?
3) Do you have a fixation on a certain thing?
4) Do you focus primarily on small insignificant things?
1) Pretty smart, dunno my IQ, but I've kept an A average through school and still do (1st year uni). So I'd say pretty smart.
2) I like to think that I am too good to get depressed, but that would be a complete lie. I do feel depressed and that I am not going anywhere in life unless I change my ways. That being said, I have never and will never think about suicide. It just seems dumb to me.
3) By fixation, you mean like obsession or addiction? I have had addictions before. Some of them occupying my time for far longer than they should (mostly computer/video-game or music related).
4) Nah, I mostly tackle the large significant things all the time. But sometimes when I'm playing video-games, if I like the game enough, I'll try to complete it to absolute completion. I painted as much of that room as I could with white paint in portal 2.
oh no, has my cover been blown completely?
