I bought a Dark Bow today. The special attack is really good and I can easily spec 60+ (2*30+ hits) but it's way too slow to be useful. Oh well, back to runecrafting and fletching for me...

Thanks. I downloaded a partition-editing utility and now I'm running both Ubuntu and Vista on my PC. : )

Please be more specific if this was not helpful.

I'm currently trying to dual-boot 2 operating systems (Vista and Ubuntu; I already have Vista installed), and right now the partition for Windows now takes up the entire drive except for a section devoted to recovery/backup files, and there's ~90GB of free space left on the primary partition being used for Windows. I want to use some of that to the new OS. Oddly enough, Windows doesn't come with a utility to do this so I'm wondering how I'll be able to. I know that it's possible to change partitions when first installing Vista but I don't want to re-install everything. Since I have 2 HDDs I'd just use 1 for each OS but I'm not sure if I'd be able to do that.

Getting good at a skill is more profitable.

I already have a decent level 88 P2P main acount and I'm getting bored with it. I'm not doing this new acount for e-gold, but for fun. I'd rather have fun PKing than clicking on virtual trees or rocks all day to get some online currency, which I already have enough of. And F2P PKing is actually a pretty good way to make money, considering that many people who I fight in the wilderness are warriors with full rune armor, and fights usually only last a few minutes. I'm just wondering if I should get defense or not because I don't know if being a mid-level tank would be better than a pure.

I'm currently levelling up a mage/range hybrid account, but should I raise defense and make it a tank instead?

Ha, what are the odds of this? I was in the Falador bank when I noticed someone around my level with the exact same outfit as me, 'cept they have cooking gauntlets and I'm wearing mime gloves.

I don't know what's more pathetic- actually taking all of the time necessary to level up an account as high as Dreamsphere's, or pretending to be them in an attempt to boost one's e-penis.

I would suggest using punching bags. Then after you finish that, go to some place, get tons of food, and kill tons of goblins. Also use those bones to help your prayer.

Actually I'd suggest for low levels to go killing cows in the cow field near Lumbridge because they drop bones for prayer, meat for cooking (and eating/healing) and cowhides which can be sold in Al-Kharid for 100 gp each, or used for crafting at higher levels. It's decent money for a new player.

Also, do you guys think this is a good tank build? Here are my current stats and goals:
70/70 Attack
68/70 (or possibly higher) Strength
73/99 Defense
73/99 Hit Points
76/99 Range
52/52 Prayer
55/?? Mage
87/~104 Combat (up to level 110 if I raise strength further)

Heh, a level 106 tried to scam me out of my whip today. You'd think that at such a high level they'd be able to make much more money, and in a fair way too. I didn't get a screenshot of the last part of the conversation, but basically he wanted me to 1-item and skull on him in the wilderness for his "PK video" and cast the Protect Item prayer to keep my whip. But why would anyone brag about being able to kill someone nearly 20 levels below them? And of course, I'm sure he would never even think of using Smite to drain my prayer. Scammers these days just aren't bright. Anyway, don't trust this guy if you ever see him in-game.

It's only $15 a month, or about 50 cents a day. That's cheaper than a cup of coffee, which many people have daily. It's very cheap entertainment, considering that many people play for multiple hours each day. However, although I myself play WoW, I wouldn't really recommend it to others. If you have a social life, don't start playing World of Warcraft.

There's an easy way to get around that. Go to a spell maker, such as the ones in Balmora, and have them create a spell which casts Resist Magicka on self, with 100 points intensity for a one second duration. Then quickly equip Boots of Blinding Speed, and you'll get the +500 speed bonus without losing vision. Although the aforementioned spell would regularly only have Resist Magicka for one second, the blinding effect of the boots would be negated for as long as they are equipped. This combined with levitation can mean you'll be able to go anywhere really fast.

In my opinion, Morrowind is much better than Oblivion. There's just so much more strategy and content.

All the (terrible) rap you like fits under that category.

Tupac made Rap about life also.

Tupac also made many songs like this, which is gangsta rap, therefore he was a gangsta rapper.

So rap has to be profane to be considered good? What a stupid thing to say. Also, ATCQ much? That's real hip-hop. Hip-hop and rap cannot be categorized as the same music because they are so different. For a "rap" fan, you sure don't know much about it. This thread is filled with ignorance.
No, it is edited so children can buy it, they do more then just bleep words they also take off whole sentendes and change them. Who the hell wants to listen to "I'm gonna talk to him politely" when it really is "I'm gonn cap that (apparently you can't say the N word on the bbs.. ) 5 times"

Um, no. Hip-hop is defined as a culture rather than just simply a musical genre and there are many differences between rap and hip hop.

Hip hop can be equally explicit, so your point is invalid. But does that even matter? Is a song only as good as it is profane? Tell me how that makes any sense. Chris Palko's lyrics are extremely visceral even when he doesn't swear (although he does, to express severity), just one example of how rap can still be great and powerful without unecessary swearing. The only rappers who swear and use epithets very often are those who need filler for their lyrics.

Quit thinking all rap and hip hop is gangsta rap and/or mainstream "hip hop". There are quite a few different subgenres of each, many of which are not like gangsta rap in the least. In my opinion, gangsta rap is pathetic. As I've said before, it promotes all sorts of hate and stupid things. Alternative rap and underground hip hop are great and completely different. They also have meaning, too.
