Stamper, dude, firstly most people don't know the game. I know you said they just need a gist of the game but jesus titty fucking christ, the only stand-out character is Snake. All Snake fucking does really is say Metal Gear, talk to his ear and crawl around in a fuckign cardboard box.

Apart from the hardcore fans, the only thing people know about any of the god damn characters is that the guy is in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

So if you assume that 20% of NG users are metal gear solid fans and about 2% of those cunts can actually make a cartoon then you've got some pretty fucking slim pickings. Transformers is completely god damn different to Metal Gear Solid as most of the NG users grew up with the show and it just got turned into a fucking hollywood blockbuster.

So the reason you've got so many fucking shitty submissions is because there are very little people who know MGS well enough to do a good flash and the people who know it a little but know flash, can't because you've put restrictions on the things they actually know.

But it does sound like you are in dire straits right now so I guess I'll help you urge the MMA community to rally together like they did with blamformers and just have metal gear growing a dick or some shit.

I refuse to believe most of them are worse than most of the blamformers ones.

I couldnt give a rats arse if my flash got a daily prize or not. I'd prefer to have 50,000 views and my score be 1.9 than have 400 views and my score be 3.6. It's just usually a daily prize goes hand in hand with more views.

Ok senoritas, here's what happened. I have my central idea, but I'm still making it in 24 hours. Ive been helped out with some music so that helps to know that ive done it in 24 hours now I just need a random line thrown in. Someone come up with a random ass line so i can just record it and give it to one of my characters so you know.

Ok so I already have a Pico submission done and sealed and ready to be submitted but I thought for a bit of fun I could make another one in 24 hours!

Pico Day is like 21 and a half hours away and so by the time i get enough ideas I can make something and submit it before the day is out.

Now I was planning on making another flash anyway but then my mind got raped with the lego writers dont want to play with. Writers block.

So Newgrounds to prove it will be done in 24 hours, I need any of the Pico day characters, a setting, and just to prove its legitimacy, someone must be give me an object or a line that I have to put in the flash.

To sum up, I have no life and I'm bored shitless. IDEAS ME!

Punch /10
Kick /10
Chin /10 (how well you can take a punch/kick)
Speed /10
Special Move /10

You will have 30 points to fill in all these categories. This way, you don't just make some strong motherfucker, thats invicinble.

So post, your character name here, with those moves, as well as your special move, and any other special things of note, like taunts, how you move, etc.

Ok I wanna try something a bit different.

I was thinking that I was going to do a celebrity deathmatch kind of flash, but instead the participants would be characters submitted by various NG users.

Here's how it would work.

It would be an 8 man tournament so that means there would be 8 potential character spots available. Now if you want a character of yours to be in it what you do is firstly, post here your characters name, special move, strengths, weaknesses etc. You will then have to send me an email featuring a fla file of your character and a representation of yourself as a trainer.

Now the detail:

> Make sure its a fla file that is compatible with Flash Professional 8, if it isn't I won't be able to open it and thus you wont be accepted.

> It would be preferable if your character's outlines are not just black and rather a darker shade of what its surrounding. For Example if part of your character is a blue circle, the blue ciricles outline would be a darker blue and so on and so forth.

> Make it of some quality, I don't wanna have 5 blue circles fighting each other.

> Now when it comes to special moves make it reasonable. Not soemthing like, "my shpecial move is that I am better than everyone."

Im currently in the process of making another Writers Guild Strike flash and one of the characters is a female reporter and has a rather long line and I just can't do a voice to suit it. So if there are any female voice actors out there who are interested just PM me and I'll give you further details.

I'm having this weird arse syncing problem with my Flash. I've got my dialogue going in the movie with my characters lip syncing to it and I had matched up the mouthes with the speech perfectly. Then I exported it and at the start it was fine, but then for some weird reason with the sounds towards the end of the scene it was out of a sync by like a second.

I thought it could have been just some sort of bug and that it would get over it, so I exported it again and the same problem. Then I decided to try and match the syncing problem by putting the mouthes back a second from the voice on the timeline. To where it was obviously out of sync in the fla file and then exported it and it was fine.

Just wondering if this was a common problem and that it isnt going to just screw up and go back to what it should be doing as soon as I upload it to newgrounds.

How about when you announce the award winners you don't do it on the forum, you make a flash of an award ceremony and perhaps get the nominees to send you an image of the character that best represents them, or something like that.

Seeing as these awards have got that much of an awesome trophy, it just seems like the winners of them require something more than just a post in the forums. A flash of an award ceremony would just be awesome, edgy and worthy!
