It won't necessarily be twice as fast because there are other factors. Similar to how if you shine a small light, then a massive light on a plant the difference in light intensity won't be proportional to the difference in growth because there are other factors limiting it.
It also can't necessarily be said that the higher the better if you include different models. Remember how a 2.2Ghz AMD single core 64 was competitive with Pentium 4s that had 3+.

Scientists know more than you about science.
Science is but an organized system of ignorance.
I can spout shit too.
I don't even know what you're trying to say, the nature of science is searching for truth. That carbon dioxide and other gasses warm the atmosphere isn't debateable anymore.

I'm not interested in the "AIM sucks, get MSN" argument, btw - all of those who I care to talk to use AIM, so that kind of advice won't help.

Well I never balanced anything as a hobby, but I often find myself daydreaming funny situations, such as a poorly produced talkshow in which the guest continually turns towards the wrong camera, never having his front facing the camera, and wearing tennis glasses.
Hilarious.
I like drawing fancy boxed capital letters at the start of paragraphs.
Balancing stuff on other stuff is pretty much my foremost hobby, it's great fun and can be played anywhere.
Today, I balanced a full 500ml bottle on a metal rail, stood another 500ml bottle on top of that bottle, stood a pen on top and then put a sock over my structure. It looked fantastic, people were admiring it as they walked by.
By the way, Kensington is a really rich area, and there are loads of tourists around, let alone foreign embassys, so racism really isn't going to be an issue there.
