She is, I would like to see your GF and criticise her atleast if you have one. Douchebag.

Perhaps you are unaware that "What Do You Think About This Girl?" is a *vaguely* misleading title for a thread.

In honest opinion, I'd go for her if it was me, though like BBM said, doesn't seem to have that much flesh to grab onto. Might break her.

Haha, I love it when all a person asks is how to do a simple command like StopAllSounds and then everyone is all "OMG AS: Sound n00b!" Just in case you guys have forgotten, the point of referencing the AS threads is to be helpful, not just to be an asshole.

Response to: Who Owns An Hd-dvd Player? Posted December 23rd, 2007 in General

hd only looks really good on medium sized tvs. Get too big and then the pixels start to show again. Still... Planet Earth. Can't have it any other way besides Blu-ray.

Don't you think that's a little... selfish?

DVDs should still sell.

Anyway, Blu-Ray seems better to me though, it has more movies than Hd-Dvd.

Yeah Blu-ray is definitely going to win out now since the choices are narrowed and most of the stuff on hd dvd is available on blu-ray and not vice versa.

I believe this to be an appropriate time to remind people of the DANGERS involving the belief of a "santa claus" in the traditional sense. If we are to believe in a Santa Claus, the belief must be based on the outline as I have drawn out above.

yes, good reply, the only thing i dont like about Ron is that he wants to keep the richer n not distribute the wealth.

Same here, and I think it's really a shame that people like Ron Paul don't realize you wouldn't have to distribute all excess wealth and become a socialist society in order to for more people to have the opportunity to succeed in life. Ron Paul, whether he does it intentionally, passively, or unwittingly, advocates for a wealth gap and a good percent of the public in poverty, which is fine for capitalism, but being on the constant alert for a socialist society to suddenly materialize... It's nonsensical. If Ron Paul was more concerned with the external threat of downfall for America, instead of a translucent and barely discern able internal one, then maybe he would get more support than he will.

Surprise! I've on Ng longer than... Posted December 2nd, 2007 in General

Yeah so I was checkin' my stats on http://nglog.denvish.net and was just looking at the top users in terms of how long they've been a member on Ng and I'm listed as 54. obviously, not every user has made an account on Denvish's site so I'm probably barely in the top 200 in reality. But what I was really interested in was some the fact that I've been on Ng than I lot of these guys (or as long as they've had their current accounts)

I guess I can call them my little brothers if I wanted to: Paradox, Black-chaos, Nuggs, Black-Flame, trig1, Androu1, Uker, fion, Criticsquid, X-naut, atomicnoodle, Xeptic, azteca89, wesdood, MiddleFingerRings, aquaticmole, Starberry, TheStarSyndicate (...), Bahamut, Mogly, RupeeClock, BlueHippo, JerkClock, Threestar, BareNakedMike.

Hey lil bros!

*Please take note that I am in no way saying that this makes me better than any of you. In fact the knowledge that even now nobody recognizes my name makes me realize how sucky a Nger I am* 8P

Seriously tho, I was surprised. Not that it matters, just makes me realize how old I am, how long I've had no life, and how long i've been unable to succeed at doing that as well.

well give an example. If you're talking about something like waterlollies, you'll see that almost anything that moves has no blur to it. You should also always use low quality blurs, and I recogmend against using blurs for backgrounds and instead create a bitmap blurred bg from photoshop. (or filter in flash, export the image and reimport it if you don't have PS)

You're generalising like a monkey, Soulja Boy is border-mainstream, go and listen to some underground before you even start to have broader opinions on rap.

underground is still crap, there all based off the mainstream, goin for what's worked in the past and that's why they never get anywhere if they want a record label. I'm not saying I don't like the concept of rap. The most basic principle of rap is the strongest one of all. It's poetry set to a beat, but rappers have changed that to the priority being poor urban pride, (which is a good intention, but he story's been sung by too many) and male empowerment (What kind of a man are you if you have no power?)

I'm still waiting for the Bob Dylan of rappers, one who will take the great variety of social issues in our lives and compile them into a few good metaphors. Neither mainstream nor underground rap seek to make a difference to the people's situation (cuz that's where their success comes from), they only reiterate what's made their lives so tough. Just complaining is hard to listen to.

At 11/28/07 10:41 PM, Lost50 wrote: is this pic any better? I dont kno

Wait... Are you making the .fla in Flash Professional 7 or higher? Cuz then that means you're default flash player is version 6 and the only time you use version 7 is in the flash document.

I'm assuming you're flash player is updated to at least 7 or 8 for when you watch .swf on the internet, so the thing to do would be to take the .swf file (the one that is not working) and right clicking>open with> firefox or internet explorer. If it works, come back and we'll talk about it.

hope this helps.
