Yeah but the point is, you shouldn't have to. If you know how to manipulate both browsers so that it looks fine in both, then you should be able to use the same sheet.

Unfortunately we aren't living in a perfect world. There are so many cases where IE displays CSS, divs, layers... very much different from other browsers. In these situations you could use a hack to fix the problem. ;( In most cases you actually save a lot of code if you employ conditional comments properly.

You could use conditional comments in the header to do this. Place this after your first external style sheet. Then any style you put in your secondary style sheet will overwrite the initial styles.

<!--[if IE]>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style-ie.css" />
<![endif]-->

You may also need to use absolute positioning with your second div so you don't mess up the layout. It all depends on how you want it to display.

If its not that big of a deal I wouldn't go through the trouble. IE will either eventually solve some of these display problems or people will migrate to FF.

what you should use,get a school bus,take out all the un needed seats to remove all the extra weight and attach a sturdy plow to the front of it,very powerful engine that could easily plow through hoards of the undead and even nudge cars outta the way.

pleanty of space to sleep and for storage all that would be needed is some simple fortification to make it perfect.

What would you do about fuel? I'm guessing gas stations use electric fuel pumps to pump gas and once the grids go down you would have a bit of a problem getting gas. You might be able to bypass something and use a generator or 12v battery to run the pumps but that is something you would definately need to worry about in a fuel guzzling vehicle like a bus.

With a smaller, more fuel efficient, vehicles you could siphon gas from other vehicles but with something as large as a bus I think that would be a real hassle.

Of course, until people get smart, that's not gonna happen.

I think thats exactly it. I don't think extremists help anything no matter how virtuous their intent is.

Outsourcing is a short term sacrifice for a long term economical benefit for the outsourcing company. Plus it immediately impacts the economy which is supplying the workers.

It is too bad people have to lose their jobs but the company has every right to hire employees from another country. We call ourselves capitalists then complain when the gov doesn't step in to protect our jobs...

Now i know hes not a racist or anything like that, but what do you think the confederate flag means? what does it mean today? Is it an innapropriate symbol?

i appreciate your input because our discussion of it got kind of heated, and some non-biased opinions from newgrounds can surely give some perspective to the argument... i hope to hear from many of you about this! thanks!

To me it stand for slavery but I know someone who avidly opposed that with the believe that it stands for "being a rebel" and "standing up for what you believe in"...
