My advice (considering I have one of the longest running series on NG) is that you be as original as possible.

Get idea's and characters that are based off what happens in your life. As not many people will be in the same situations you will be. Take things from life (may it be things that bug you, piss you off, make you laugh, or you enjoy) and put a spin on them.

Base characters off of your friends etc..., as those characters are already fully developed.

All I can really stress is be original.

I had a horrific dream about the end of the world. I survived and managed to live in the ruins with my family.

It was really fucked up. Alien Invasion.

But I'm already working on a flash...So I gotta pass this one up.

Ok, I was working on flash, then all of a sudden my stage went from being in the middle to being alligned to the left.
Now I cannot see anything that goes off the stage to the left. This is frustrating.

How can I change it back?

I have no Event sounds in the flash. All of them are streaming, and all of them are of reasonable length. I think it is just that the repeat is set to 1.

Well, I'm now changing all of the Stream; Repeat to 0.

Well, I am having a problem with flash.

When I play the flash file (Test Movie), after a little while into the flash (about 4 minutes in) the audio starts to go out of sync with the graphic files (that I use as mouths).
The audio (.wav) starts to play about a second ahead of the movie.

What's weird is that, as I added more to the flash, the sync seems to start later on into the flash now. Parts when it went out of sync before are now in sync. Now all the newly added scene's are out of sync.

This is a very weird problem that I have not encountered ever before.

Any help with the problem? Is it because I'm using Graphics instead of Movie Clips for the mouths? I have no fucking clue.

Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn Crahan -- aka Clown -- put a lot of work into the band's upcoming video release, "Voliminal: Inside the Nine." But, he says, please don't call it a DVD.

"I don't really like that term; I'm calling it more of a movie than I am a DVD," explains Crahan, who conceived and directed the two-disc set. "You're talking three-and-a-half years in the making. There were over 300 videotapes at 60 minutes apiece to analyze, and I watched every single one of them. There's, like, 325 edits in the thing, and each one of them are precisely put in for an exact reason.

"So at the end of that, I didn't turn in a DVD, y'know? I turned in a movie, period. A film."

"Voliminal" includes one disc of live footage, music videos and interviews with each of Slipknot's nine members. But the centerpiece is the 90-minute film on the first disc, a stream-of-consciousness style presentation that takes viewers on stage, backstage, in the dressing room, on the tour bus and anywhere else that was part of Slipknot's experience while making and touring in support of 2004's platinum "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)."

"My band tours for months and months and months on end," Crahan says, "and you'd think we're crazy to put up with the sh*t we have to put up with to get on stage for an hour-and-a-half. So that's what the movie had to feel like; it had to be one conscious thought ... to just grab reality, grab the truth of it.

"I spent a lot of time organizing it in a way that I was speaking to you," he continues. "Hopefully people will pick up on that."

"Voliminal" comes out Dec. 5 via Roadrunner and will have to sate Slipknot's fans, the Maggots, until the group's next album. And according to Crahan that probably won't be until 2008.

"We're all taking a nice two-year break," he says. "We've been home for about a year. I'm sure that within a year from now we'll probably be writing. It's a little too early right now to say what's coming in the future, but we are still a very violent organization when it comes to our art; I'm very interested to see where we're all gonna be at this next level of all our lives."

Blabbermouth reports that According to AOL Music, percussionist, Shawn "Clown" Crahan from Slipknot recently gave the following piece of advice to fans who are planning on dressing up as a member of the masked metal band for Halloween:
"If you're gonna go as us, be careful," he told AOL Music. "We can be a hard pill to swallow. If you're wearing something that's Slipknot and you go to a house, you're gonna get a different reaction than if you're going as Bela Lugosi. We deal with reality a little bit more than Bela Lugosi does, or a werewolf or some mummy character."

Clown himself is partial to liquid latex, which he uses to create a face that looks like it's been blown up. There's a practical inspiration for the costume, he said: "I used to weld for Slipknot."

Amazing thing that happened to me:

I made a highlight video showcasing a favorite fight/fighter of mine. The ACTUAL fighter saw the video and thanked me!

He said it has inspired him to get back into training and that his fans are giving him a reason to fight. He was feeling like shit and wasn't training. When he saw the video it made him realize that people still know who he is and that he is going to start training again. He said the next fight he is going to give it his all!

...Awesome.
