Don't think so, they're copyrighted characters, and since we're getting paid, you can't make anything that has to do with them, even if you draw them yourself.

I think what you do is anything you want affect by the variable, you multiply it by _root.speed; This was the example in this topics first 4 posts:

this._x += someVariable*(_root.speed);

Now on to good news. The amazing Mr. Fulp got rid of the account that had my current username, so now I can finally be Donutmaster :D

Plus, here's an update on two of the games I'm making:

-Fuzzz- & Me (he's still working on the art, I'm still fixing up the code)

Blackfang did the art, me did the coding. I gotta fix 2 things (if you shoot the arrow really slow, I gotta make it so you lose, other wise it just looks wrong, and I want the bow to rotate, not just the arrow)

Other than that, its basically done :D

Are you asking to test your preloader?

There's a function in flash... When you Test Your Movie, you can simulate downloading.

While in flash:
1. Control>TestMovie

While testing movie:
1.View> Download settings (pick one)
2. View> Simulate Download.

Also if you View> Bandwidth Profiler, you can see some more info about your movie (like, how many kb's are loaded and stuff)

But I also made another game, gotta fix it a lot, but basically, use the mouse to shoot the arrow and hit the target. (Looking for artist, think I found one but idk if its definite yet)

Really Early Version (If you just barely pull the arrow back and let go, you'll see why I'm not happy with the engine yet :'()

I'd kind of like it to be more of a relaxing/exploratory game rather than a high-paced shootemup style.

Maybe you could make it so if you're fairly far down, there's a randomly placed chest or something, and inside is some gold. Or there's some small shipwrecks that have a little cash bonus (or maybe old unused oxygen tanks, and you can pick em up so you can stay down longer or go deeper)

I always liked relaxing or puzzle games. :D

Amazing bomtoons. Love it. As for ideas/story... Maybe the story could be like you're an aspiring underwater photographer, and as you go along your get bigger and bigger jobs and more money for each job done until your final job (Final job = Taking pictures of a Jaws! Or diving down to the titanic and taking pics of that, idk I'm bad with ideas)

For gameplay ideas, have it so there's wildlife underwater and some don't bother you, but if you hit a shark or w/e you die/take damage (or a stingray! z0mg they're deadly if they get ya in the chest)

Can't wait for the full release :D

If you couldn't tell I only posted my crappy ideas because I didnt wanna just post saying "amazing". Of course its amazing, you're bomtoons! :P

Nice. How about instead of the gun always being the same _x coordinate as the mouse, make it rotate? (So, it still moves a bit, but instead of being the _x, it rotates to point at the _x. I know if I was shootin cows I'd turn the gun instead of moving over to shoot another one)

Make it so you can only harpoon the whale if you hit him from above. If the whale runs into the harpoon, he shouldn't be harpooned, the harpoon should just bounce off him.

Animation for the whale (swimming and being harpooned) would be a nice improvedment.

Overall: I like it :D

Overall Usefullness

Those can expalin creating a wall better than I ever could. (Besides, reading a tutorial teaches you how to make walls in the future. Just giving you the code will probably just fix your current need for the actionscript, and you won't learn it.)
