So I just did something I never have done before - completed a dance-date.

I do have a pic of her, I'll post it next time I make a post, probably.

Sadly, yeah.

That's really weird and surprising, what bike did you use?

It did make a full square around SA, but it did still take a while.

Are you sure the hydra is the fastest plane?

Congrats.

Thanks.

At 11/1/06 06:58 AM, Phantom wrote: Alright, I swam in a perfect square around SA and it took.......:

1 hour, 13 minutes & 54.82 seconds.

Dayum, that's quite a bit longer than running. Impressive number, really. Did you sprint-swim or just normal?

Enjoy. I didn't.

I never thought you would XD

At 11/1/06 07:35 PM, ThelastPichu wrote: I bet that most of the time when everyone got SA they made CJ buff from the start.

Yup, I did that, mostly seeing as how I was impressed with the whole thing.

TREASURE HUNT
Recently, I downloaded a mod that added a small island south of Santa Maria Beach. Nothing really special about it. The creator said ha created the island using graphics and stuff already in the game. Well, on the island there is a small bridge, and on some of the pillars there is a dead man in a suit I think, tied to the pillar under the water. So I'm wondering, where did he get that from?

Anyway, I made another discovery that's new to me, at least. After what happened on the attached picture, I passed the maximum amount of cash that could be in the counter, and what do you know, a new digit appeared. And another thing I'm wondering, why are some of the $2's yellow, and some brown? :/

Now that's really alot faster. More than I thought. If you're still doing these things, hows bout swimming around the map?

I did see it again and I saw her, seems the characters are random pedestrians. This time it was fat a bit less old woman in cowboy boots. Seems to be only mostly desert characters, and I saw her drown.

Then I guess that for me it either was a unique character, or a pedestrian I havn't seen yet.

At 10/8/06 05:50 PM, Phantom wrote: Ok, the news are simple and interesting. About the laps, on an NRG of the same course, 10 minutes, and 10 seconds

Just five minutes faster than a bike? Really?

Hydra made a big square across SA in 5 minutes and 6 seconds.

Again, that seems quite long. Five minutes, eh.

As for the old lade seen taking pictures. News flash, it's not always an old lady, but it always a female, so far.

Like I said before, it was a guy for my friend.

When walking into the water, she swam in place, which is surprising since you never see any pedestrians in the water that aren't dead, go figure.

That's right, didn't think of that. Can't really remeber if mine did that.

I also took her picture, as shown here. Sorry for the bad quality, but it's night, I took this shot with a camera built into my cell phone...

I see, I think I maybe took a in-game picture of mine aswell, I'll check that out in a sec.
Because you see, pictures taken with the camera get seved to the disc ;) I'd like to see a PS2 do that :D

At 10/24/06 02:54 AM, D13Daniel wrote: Besides the secret scene in the mission Amphibious Assault(you need low lung capacity to view this, a obvious scene) there is more funny ones as well.

Yeah, I've seen this one. Impressive how they did a whole scene about not beeing able to start a mission, when they just as easy could have written it in a box the way they do when you have to start a mission a certain time.

You know that Toreno mission where you ride your motorcyle into a plane. Well I was hit by the barrels and fell, then there was a cut scene where CJ fell on top of a car and the doors flew off.

Huh, haven't actually seen this one. I'll check it out next time through the game.

Also, I ate a lot to get the cop girlfriend so I can get her bonus. Well after that I did Truth's Green Goo and there was a scene about Truth saying CJ is too fat for this mission.

Yeah, I've heard about these, I think there are a few more about beeing to fat out there.

A ped that farts in the police station.

Where would that be?

Radio Los Santos comments on the Grove Streets coming up and the rise in carjacking and a crazy driver(which is CJ of course.)

I always hear this one for some reason, never miss it.

K-Rose commenting on two couples robbing the countryside(That is you and Catalina of course)

Considering I never listen to K-Rose I haven't heard that one, but it makes sense.

and when Tenpenny goes to court, I think all the radio stations comment on that, I know that RLS, K-rose and Playback FM does.

How about when you plant the drugs in the car in the valet mission, if you listen to K-DST afterwards you'll hear him saying something like:

"Did you hear about that guy with all those drugs? What an asshole, all those drugs and he didn't share."

ANYWAY, after spending a little more than twenty million dollars in the casinos (very little of it on roulette, actually), I went and bet a million dollars on red 18, lost, did the same thing again and voila. Meaing that with my current 80 million, a won roughly ten million when just fucking around.

Both really nice to pass, didn't even realise I was behind my dear old gal iscrulz, but I guess it makes sense when you think about it. And 20 is such a nice number, one could even say that I've made it into the top 20, making me pretty much surprised and impressed that my numbers are so strong.

And now I have two celebs to swoosh by, Yoinker and Joe. And the threats from behind me passed me without me noticing, so I'm happy with my current spot.

That's true, so now it will be even more intresting to see how much difference versitality makes and not just the speed.

By the way, did you sprint as much as you could or did you just run?

I swam, because leaving at the beach, getting to the actual bridge was a nag.

Yeah, now that I think about it it's quite a way to run.

Whoa, I didn't save it, can I see her again?

Probably, but don't get too excited, it's not like she explodes or anything. She takes a couple of pictures, than drowns herself and doesn't return.

it was an elderly woman in a long brown dress with white hair. At least this time.

Was it an unique cahracter or someone that could be a pedestrian? I think that for me it was an unique chrarchter, a woman with a cowboy hat and such.

Are you telling me this is a known secret of the game, some crazy lade taking pictures?

I don't know how known it is, I played when I had some friends over and when I was near that area my friend with the ps2 told me about her so I checked it out.

I'll have to see if I can find it again, does it have any conditions to appear?

The first time I didn't save, and the next time I went back she was there. She should be there for you. Enjoy :)

Damn, that's really a long time. I wonder how long it would take on the other games, not nearly as much. Impressive. Congrats.

I have yet to try it on a bicycle. But now I have a new objective. Here is the course as I took it.

It will be intresting to see how much faster the bike is. I'm guessing about half the time.

The red line means where I left, the blue, where I finished.

Did you swim under the Gant Bridge or have you just drawn it sloppy?

The yellow dot is where I saw a strange old women taking pictures pointlessly, I killed her.

You wouldn't have to kill her. Eventually she kills herself. And now you'll never see her again on that save file.

Are you sure that it was a woman? Because when I found her on the PC she was a girl, but for my friend who plays on a PS2 it was a man.

The first time I through I had huge problems with that too, I even tried to glitch but without luck. But seeing how the NRG is my favorite vehicle by far, I have driven with it a real lot a mastered every aspect of it. And when I tried the NRG mission now, I had no problems what so ever. I complete it every time I take that bike, just going for a better time.

I think the other Hydra pilots after you have 4 stars or higher are a massive pain in the ass unless you have a Hydra.

Yes they are tough, but if you somehow, accidentally wind up in the water, forget about it.

"new model Army" Ehmm....

I don't like looking at such lists either, don't want to spoil anything. :P

The reason I asked is because I'm thinking of which mission I should complete last, so I have a cool name for the save file. At first I thought it would be cool to name it NRG-500 because I love that bike, but now I don't know. A cool name is one of the "races" in the airport in Las Venturas, called "World War Ace". I still haven't decided.

Vice City definitely had the best feeling to it, everything with the game combined gives it such a great feeling. And I really love both Miami Vice and Scarface, and Vice City is based on them both.

However, I don't know if that's enough to call it the best game. There's a lot more fun packed into San Andreas, and driving around at night in GTA3 listening to Rise FM is also hard to beat. They are all great.

The models can be really hard to fly with. I think the problem I had with it was that I never actually had done any serious flying. When I tried it before, I tired it once and didn't try again. After that I did alot of screwing around, including alot of flying. For instance, doing vigilante with the Hunter for a few hours really improved my skill. And now when I tried Air Raid again, I was surprised at how easy it was for me to complete it.

I know, once you get down it can be impossible to get up again.

I hate Zero's missions, Air rade was easy, but the mini-stunt plane is a pain in the ass to fly in.

If you want my advice, the best way to train yourself for the model planes is to get really good with normal flying vechicles. Do some vigilante with the Hunter, for starters.

In school, we're creating our own companies so that we can learn everything that comes with that. The companies must also have their own logos. That's where I could use some help.

My company is an internet travel agency called TravelTrader.com. So the logo should be a picture of the earth or something, with maybe a airplane or so, and text saying TravelTrader.com. The most important this is that it looks as cool as possible.

The people that are going to see this aren't so familiar with photoshop, so you can use any methods you want, as long as it looks cool and flashy.

It would be really sweet if you could throw something together. Thanks.

Yes, the game really needs more of that. Or it's just really, really well hidden.

And the billboard on Rodeo on LS "True Grime: Street cleaners.

Yup, I got myself a nice chuckle the first time I saw it. There's no lack of funny signs.

Well, CJ is black, rednecks wouldn't be fond of him.

Circle of life, heh. But seriously, they are really disgusting. Especially the baldy without a shirt. You want to smack them around a bit just so they'll realize how they look and sound.

Yeah, they do blow up, not to mention a good pilot could dodge the rockets. Take a hard left or right on a chopper if you see a rocket your way, keep it till you almost crash then pull up, should work.

Well, I forgot to blow up one turret when I flew it out, so I know it can be done. But the turret closest to the chopper starts shooting when you enter it, even though it's still on the ground. That's why I couldn't fly it out before I knew they could be blown up.

And on a plane, take sharp left spins while pushing the plane down and near the ground, pull up.

Well with a plane there's no problem. You can basically outrun them, and if not they're easy to dodge.

I only save when I made major progress...

I avoid it. Do you care if you get wasted or busted? To me, getting wasted is part of the game. You can't drive around and have fun if you're going to reload every time you die. But I hate getting busted. I think that's the only real way the game can win over you.

I some times still the truck or Hummer from that base...

I used to go in there all the time, because no one follows you, and shoot down helicopters until I had six stars, and then drive out and get chased. I think six stars is way easier than five stars. There's nothing tougher to escape from than the feds.

So where do you think the cops are hardest to get away from? Unless you have like a Speeder or Jetmax, the sea cops are really difficult. The helicopters are nastiest there, and combined with the boats it's a bad place to be.

I noticed you haven't completed the Zero missions from SF yet, nor did you do the LV Casino heist. Got stuck?

Well, no. I have a 100% game, so nothing is too hard. But I don't play missions too often now, I basically just roam around all the time, doing a little something here and there to keep me going. The only time I make some real progress with the mission is if I someone's watching.

However, I haven't completed the Zero mission because it's so damn hard and frustrating that I just don't feel like even trying. By the way, you don't happen to know what the final Zero mission is called?

I seem to be way over my head with this homosexuality discussion, however they didn't say the homosexuals were inferior or less worth than straight people. I for one think it's wrong to be gay, but that doesn't mean I want to have them killed or force them to change.

20% of the youths in the poll said that they thought homosexuality was a disease, that it is not normal and it's wrong to be gay. The question "What can be done about this?" implied that their opinion was wrong.

And no opionion is wrong in a democratic country, in my opinion.

The reply actually suggested brainwashing, making changes in kindergarden.

The same thing occured a few days ago, when we had elections in Sweden. A party that mainly wanted to stop immigration (video) and even deport immigrants, made a huge impovement in the amount of votes it got, and immediately politicians started talking about how shocked they were, and how wrong it was that many people had voted for that party.

Left and right politicans started co-operating just to freeze out that party. I mean, the people have spoken, and still the goverment thinks their opinions are wrong.

At 9/21/06 08:53 PM, Imperator wrote: If the show said "1/5 of kids believe black people are an inferior race. What can we do about this?"

Would you have a problem then?

You can't really compare race with sexuality. It's not the same thing to say that it's wrong to be black, stop beeing black. Besides, they didn't say that homosexuals were inferior. It would be better to compare with a question like, "1/5 wants to have traffic on the left side of the road. What can we do about this?"

It's just their opinion, it's not like they're going to go out and drive on the wrong side of the road, just like thinking homosexuality is wrong is also just an opinion, but apparently an unacceptable opinion.

Look, this thread has nothing to do about homosexuality. I just said it so that the problem would make sense. Some of you have some really good points in the gay discussion.

However, the problem I had was that the reporter asked a question that to me basically ment "A minority of people think differently than the mass. What can we do so that this minority have the opinions that we want, the right opinion that the rest have?"

I was shocked when I heard that. Even in such a sensitive matter like homosexuality, I felt like that question tried to remove some of our freedom.

The problem I had wasn't about homosexualiy, it was that the reporter asked a question that suggested that something hade to be done and that the ones that thought differently hade to be made so that they'd change their minds.

I guess Sweden wants to be a modern country that wants everyone to think that we're open-minded and ok about such things, but that question imediatly made me think about Nazi Germany.

"What can be done about this?"

I got real pissed off. You can't think what you want? You can't have your own opinion about such things? It's like they're telling you which thoughts are wrong and how you should think.

Is it just me or was that something you shouldn't hear on the news in a democratic country?

Well I ment hidden stuff, not funny signs. Like the easter egg on the top of the golden gate for instance. I havn't read that sign I think, but I do remeber a fun one that made fun of True Crime, it had some joke about garbage disposal, I can't really remeber.

But yeah, I've never said that the game isn't filled with alot of humor, but I am disappointed with the easter eggs. Like the first time you get the jetpack, you search each and every cliff and mountaintop without luck. Or all the buildings in San Fierro, like one of the ones near the garage has a lift for window cleaning, and I was sure I was going to find something there, but nope.

Sounds like the kind of thing Rockstar would want to make just for the scandal.

I'm still waiting for the bullying game...

Man, running over old ladies is awesome.

I get pissed of at the rednecks by just looking at them. I can't eat in the countryside without killing everyone inside.

I did, bust in with a Hydra from your airport in the north, blow up the turrets ( they do blow up )

Oh, I see. I tried shooting at them with the minigun, but I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. That changes everything.

and jack it, then hide it in your hanger, run away to save or die,

For some reason, I hate saving. I avoid it as much as possible. I basically save once a day.

as long as the doors close, it will be there. Not to mention it's easier to get my flying into "here" see picture. It will also be here, just fly on a regular chopper, land and grab it.

I'll go and scope it out, but a challange is always fun.

I know lol "runway 69, ship 69 etc.." but on one mission when CJ jacks the plane in mid air, he says "This is flight CJ 101" so...

69 cent store, it's hard to remeber every place but it would make a damn long list.

These are the military factories, the Crago bob chopper is here too, enjoy.

Thanks.

So I went back there, destroyed a turret, flew out, parked the chopper, took the bike that spawns there, (which by the way is really nice that it does) went to the pay and spray by Barbera, returned, crashed into a truck and started falling through the ground. I eventually spawned by the worlds largest cock, which by the way is where I saw the ice cream truck. And now I'm off to play with my new chopper.

That or the also rare ice cream truck. but not as much.

Yeah, I've seen them both. The pizza bike is quite rare aswell.

But now that I've taken the goggles from Zeros shop, I haven't seen them there again. Odd.

Dislike? It's awesome that the map is so huge.

I beated the Wi Zu Mi mission (don't know the correct name, its the first illegal streetrace game you get for Cesar in San Fierro) and I won, but didn't save, and now I can't beat it. D:

I love the races. That one is fairly easy, if you just use a few shortcuts you shouldn't have any troubles. Make sure you have an alright car though.

Besides that, I hope GTA gets some ragdoll elements, that would kick ass.

Not really what I've missed the most from the game, but it would be sweet.

At 9/20/06 03:02 PM, Phantom wrote: As for the big map, for all I know, it's never big enough. It's just fun to roam around there.

I agree, but there's a big lack of things to find. It seems like they've cut back on the hidden easter eggs in this one.

One thing that's quite odd though, if you go to the very top left of the map, atop of the hills by the boat school, there's a trail of lights that go at the very top, that shine greenish at night. I thought I'd found something at first, but there's not much more to it.

To make it normal, SA has no children lol.

That would be really brutal. I doubt that the game would have been released if you had the ability to walk around and slit little kids throat with a knife, massacre them with a chainsaw or listen to their screams after throing a molotov at them.

Would have been fun, though.

Every one is born 30 there.

Make that either 20 or 80.

Anyway, have you managed to steal the military chopper from Area 69? You can't fly it out, seeing as how you'll get shot down by the turrets and the military plane, so I've tried using a towing truck, but it's hard to keep the cops from flipping it over. I have a few other approches to try.

And the fact that every single number in the game is 69 is kinda annoying. I understand it's the only "fun" number, but give it a break.

Oh I see, so that's why. I just think it's kinda odd that both the first times I were at their spawning point they were there, and since I've taken them they havn't appeared again. Must be a rare code.

Right you were. Thanks!

If you want the night vision goggles, the only place I know of where you can get a pair is at Madd Dogg's Crib.

Yeah, I remember having them a couple of times, but I don't know from where. Kinda odd that you can't buy any of them. They could at least have made them very expensive.

Has anyone ever completed SA without cheating to find the pictures tags and other secrets

The first time I used some maps yes, however I have found all 100 tags twice now without using maps, with over a year between the first two times. And I can assure you that it didn't make it easier just because I had used a map a year ago. The second time I got all the 100 I had to go through the map systematicly, going from house to house looking at each wall and than tracking my progress on a map of the city.

It took forever, but now the third time through, it was alot easier because if you find the tags on your own they stay in your memory easier. I had a hard time with the final one, but I think that I could find all 100 now in an hour or so.

With the snapshots I'm at 49, the oysters at about 20 but I haven't done any real looking, and the horseshoes 15 by just picking up the ones I pass.

It's funny though, because that's the last thing you would say to a female cop in real life.

Haha, yeah that's an alright one. I've never really understood what CJ means when responding with "that's real intresting, I'm just gonna miss it." It doesn't seem like something you say.

Anyway, I've run into a problem, it seems like once you pick up thermal goggles, they will never appear again. And seeing how the goggles are in the same slot as the parachute, they're bound to dissappear. I've picked up one at area 69, and another by the big radar, but I can't find either one anymore.

More like a odd butt plug IMO. Bad attempt at a flail.

Not like the butt plugs I've been around :/

But yeah, a really bad attempt. Imagine how awesome it could have been if it was one of those round things.

I'm not a fan of 18-19.
Level 18 only, ONLY looks good with a light aura and your alias as AdelbertSteiner. But only one can be achived. D;

Well, I certainitly agree with the light aura, in my opinion there are only two levels that look the best with a aura other than dark, and this is one of them.

However, this brings me closer to one of the sweetest icons, the hammer.
Maul > Hammer, either way it is nice. So congratulations my good sir on level 19.

Yeah, I couldn't find the right word. Of course a maul is sweet, but what I like about it is that it takes up so much room, basically the opposite of the flail.

Thanks, it's always great to level up, even if it's to a level you dislike. Alot of people hate this level because it looks like a dildo or dog toy or whatever, I don't like it because it's too similiar to level 15. Level 16 was great, 17 was actually even greater but I'm not a fan of 18-19. However, this brings me closer to one of the sweetest icons, the hammer.

Sorry to be the dilverer of bad news but that's a glitch, sometimes a tag seems to be sprayed to but won't count, ever try to lock on them all to see if you can spray more, or accept it...Or start over, it happened to me once, 99 tags and 69 jumps. No way to fix it.

I found it ;)

It took me a hell of a time, but for the third time ever, I have all the tags. You beeing wrong, Phantom, has never made me happier :D
I would really hate to not have a perfect game, and restarting wasn't anything I felt like at the time.

And as I said:

Oh well, I guess it'll show up sometime, and probably also be really easy.

It was a really easy one, one of the first you take. The one on the hospital wall, right next to the skater park near groove. It's an undescribable feeling to find the last one, after so long.

Now I'm ready to talk about other stuff :)
Like me having 49 snapshots :P
Not that I'll have to search too long for the last one, not with the thermal goggles ;)

Anyway, anyone that has had a fun conversation while driving your girlfriend? When I dated Katie, the nurse, this conversation made me laugh:

- OG Loc? More like OG Joke.
- That's amazing.

Something about her making a bad pun and him thinking it was the smartest comment ever sounded hilarious.

Wow, watching this update really makes me kick myself for beeing away for three weeks and missing clock day by just two days. Pretty alright for me to get a daily pace of 50+ by visiting the local internet cafe a very few times on clock day only.

Anyway, I'm finally back, I haven't stopped or anything. I passed two people today, well a guy and a bot that is, and I'll get to #15 really soon now, and then I'll start hunting fixit and 50k.

The pressure from behind (lol) is getting stronger, especially with this insane update. However, now that I get going again I think I don't have to worry too much for a while.

There's a large gap to fixit, and an even larger after him. But I'm really starting to get a sweet ranking, so I'm enjoying that instead of getting all mad. I was stuck at 18 for long while aswell, so it's alright.

Damn, I'm on my third time going through San Andreas, and I can't possibly seem to find the very last tag. Both previous times I've gotten all hundred of them, but this time one of them seems to have sliped my memory. The 99th one was a really easy one, right by the street just west of Glen Park, which means that I just drove around and took them from memory, without actually doing any searching.

Oh well, I guess it'll show up sometime, and probably also be really easy.

Yeah, I really like that aswell, makes the game feel more balanced and walking around suddenly gets much more intresting.
But when you do that and a buddy is watching, he'll always go "Yeah, right."

That's too bad, however this could be faith. I played the game on a friends ps2, and seeing as how I've spent weeks playing it on the computer, it made me sick. It's so much better on pc.

hydra and Tank outside my door step

A very poor reward considering all the things you have to do and the reward in Vice City.

Thanks for the update.

Have I ever not made this list?

014) 49503 0000 000.0 fixit
015) 46268 0000 000.0 yaya12
016) 46255 0010 001.8 RoweNuts
017) 45313 0196 035.6 Rabindarath
018) 44140 0640 116.4 DonDoli 1

Alright, finally made it through a 3k+ gap. I should pass Rabindarath and RoweNuts at about the same time, in a few weeks. Then it's time for some long awaited robot bashing, followed by a really sweet landmark at 50k.

019) 44023 0000 000.0 ScottTowels -1

Passing EKRegulus has been something I've looked forward to for a long time. There was something about him trying to stop at 29999 but immediately made a mistake which gave him egsc and way beyond, that really made me want to pass him.

020) 41622 0605 110.0 LittleMissVixen 1

Still not getting closer ;)

Men, jag har 3.89 BA? Glömt att nämna det, glömt att räkna det eller skitit i det rent allmänt?
I så fall är jag riktigt nära 60k i alla fall.
