I've been using FL for maybe a year now, and i understand the program pretty well i think. But anyways, the program isn't the problem, it works fine. The problem is that i have no choice of instruments.
I'll open the program, and say, "Ok, i want some nice bells [or something]", and i'll immediately realize that i don't have nice bells or something. So that's kindof annoying. I always find myself wanting actual orchestral instruments, and i suppose my best option for that would be to get an orchestra, but seeing as i'm not even out of junior high, i doubt the possibilities of that.

I kindof look up to MaestroRage.

So i don't know if i should buy a new program all together, or if i should buy a VST, or whatever, and i don't know where i would buy any of that. So i come to you, Newgrounds, because you know EVERYTHING.

Nope, it's a movie clip

This is what i do:
I press insert, movie clip, add an animation to it, then add the movie clip to the main timeline on a keyframe at the very start. when i press enter to watch my (very amateur) animation, but nothing interesting happens. all it does is show me the first frame from my movie clip.

I want the movie clip to start, and loop in the background until the end of the animation.

Hopefully that helps :/

How do you make a movie clip loop through an animation? And, for that matter, how do you make a movie clip start? I can watch the clip play when i select it (and make it so that it's timeline shows at the top) but when i watch the movie on the main timeline it doesn't play.

Now i feel like a noob (which i am i guess). Thanks a ton. now my videos actually work like they're supposed to.

I got flash a while ago, and I've been making videos. They turned out mediocre considering the time I've spent with flash. So i tried making a video based on a song ( 'cause everyone likes music right?) but the song plays faster than the video when i export it.

So i ask you, how do you sync your video with your audio? I know its possible. Please help.
