Not trying to be mean, but that was well said. I agree 100%.

I'm already investing in another engine. Perhaps I can after the album's release.

Deflektor, "All Dimrain Fans read!!!" is not = "I'm a God"

"All Dimrain Fans Read!!!!" = If your a fan, read this. Why bother if you aren't a fan? I can't find any arrogance in that. It seems that the purpose of this thread has eluded you.

Isaiah, I'm sorry I brought you into this. I didn't think about it. But thanks for your support, and I want you to know that you have mine as well.

If anyone else wants to argue, then PM me, so that I can ignore it. Otherwise, lets fucking drop it already.

About the the whole "Whose releasing a record", you know nothing. API was signed by a record company, and is too creating an Album. The only difference between the two is that API didn't create his label, unlike Dimrain. API worked hard to get his music professionally produce. Dimrain simply created his. I consider that being cheap.

Yeah, I've BEEN rejected by some labels, but then again, I've rejected some of them too. Oh, say, Blue Smoke Records, Galaxy ME, Infinite Sector Recordings.... I find producing my own music under my own name quite an accomplishment, actually. Cheap? I one's own opinion, I guess.

@ Erkie: You used too many big words. It hurt my brain. :(

His "intellect" would show through a little more thouroughly if he'd stop pretending he's contradicting people and help the cause that ISN'T being understood.

And that is, If you would like to support my cause, then let me know. If not, go about you daily lives. If you have one, that is.

And yes, once everything is developed, you will have access to samples to hear, so that you can decide, "Wow, nevermind." or "Hmm.. maybe" or "Wow, I like that."

Erkie, yay for using big words and complex sentences. You've left your marks here, now you can leave.

Wow, I knew this would happen.

So, you guys couldn't find anything better to do than to complain about how my fanbase is so large, even though my old music is so simple and shitty? Didn't surprise me at all, actually.

Dude, API, I can understand how jealousy can get the best of all of us sometimes. But there's a fine line between that, and just being a flat out douchebag. I find it funny that someone who's been on the AP twice as long as me and has almost 4 times the submissions has nearly half of the downloads I do. Nice single solitary diamond track, btw...

None of you has heard what changes I have made to my style, my method, and my music. If you don't like my music, if you think I suck, I'm perfectly fine with that. Just respect what I am doing here. Fuck, I'd buy almost any album that came out of Newgrounds, just because I love NG and I support the fact that it maintains an outlet for people to do whatever the fuck they want, whether it's create flash or create music.

And no, I don't have any alt accts. I'm not THAT lame *cough*Saint_Isaiah*cough.*

Hey guys. So, my album is on the brink of publication, and I need your input.

Here's the deal. 12-13 tracks will be on the CD, featuring remastered versions of "Revolutions" and "Confines of a Memory." 10-11 tracks are brand new, never-before heard by anyone but me and my label. Altogether, this is about an hour of music.
Tom agreed to grant me adspace in the AP, so once everything is put together, you will have links and such to purchase them.

The Album title and release date will be announced together VERY soon. The approximate release date is late September.)

I NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD PLAN ON BUYING THIS CD FOR $10-$12, SO THAT I CAN REPLICATE THE APPROPRIATE NUMBER OF COPIES.

If you are planning on buyung this CD, please post so below. If not, do not post.

(If you've already posted that you would purchase the CD on my MySpace blog, then do not post so here.)

Thanks guys!

Ah, that I didn't know. Well, perhaps we could collab? Or maybe my podcast will just be my picks form the AP, or whatever. If people like you, don't give up dude. = )

Dimrain47 here. I've been playing with the idea of creating, managing, and producing a podcast in order to promote and help traffic my music. However, I thought it would be more fun if instead I were to feature the latest and greatest of the Newgrounds AP.

I know the G9CORE site is doing this as well, but Newgrounds is only a small factor of what goes into that podcast. This will be an NG AP ONLY podcast that will help others hear of newgrounds, what goes on inside, and artists emerging within.

This podcast will be available through iTunes, Yahoo!, iPodder, Feed Burner, Feedster, Weblogs and Odeo.

Anyone interested? Or a waste of my time.........?

Yeah, we all know, but he's still trying to cover it up for some reason. He hasn't said it yet, but if you've read through the 7 pages of posts and you still don't know that Haiasi is Saint Isaiah, then something's wrong.

I didn't know a grudge could be carried out to this extent. What people do in their free time.........

Yeah you just gotta provide credit in the description. Because it's a cover, you're not claiming copyright or ownship other than that you composed it. All other credit must be given to the original song and their respective owners.

And Fantastic:

This thread isn't over until Dimrain gets here.

Uh, yeah, BULLSHIT. The disclaimer in the audio portal says that ONLY your original work may be submitted, and anything by another artist is NOT you original work. It doesn't say "Oh, and, by the way, if you give credit, we don't count it as another persons work. You're ok."

Yeah, maybe Forsaken Neon does deserve to be deleted. If so, you can delete any other remix of ANYTHING including the entire videogame section. The disclaimer does not give pardon to anything that is accredited to the original owner. It says that if it isn't original, it isn't allowed. And, due to the fact that the Admins selected a remix, an UNORIGINAL, WRITTEN BY ANOTHER PERSON remix as background music for the audio portal, I'm not too sure that they will give a shit about what I did.

Well I'm getting some more info on a hint I received that 80% of "Frozen in Black and Silver" is stolen composition. I sent him a message here on NG as well.

HAH! Good luck finding / proving I stole 80% of "Frozen in Black and Silver" buddy. That one came form the wrinkles of my brain. Forsaken Neon is my only stolen evil demon compilation of death.

HEY!

Dimrain47 here. Yes, it is true that the given melody in "Forsaken Neon" is from a Children of Bodom song. It is not my own original work.

As so, the rest of the melody in the song is ripped too. That entire track (Forsaken Neon) is a compilation of everything that was stuck in my head after browsing through my iTunes library one day. The song was for my own personal use, and I thought I might share it with NG as well.

I suppose that I should have said something about this in the song description, but I didn't:

Firstly, I didn't think anyone would care if they discovered the several riffs/melodies they recognized from other songs, mainly because this is a free audio database, and if I was reported on the subject, the worst they could do is force NG to take it down. I'm making zero profit off of anything I submit to NG, so no harm is being done to anyone. Someone hs already sent the song to reps of CoB as well as reps of Spinefam Labels, and they don't give a shit. They've got a copyright, so they don't care as long as I'm not making profit of it.

Secondly, I would have expected any listener who likes CoB to wear a "Hey, cool" face when they heard "Forsaken Neon." I, along with anyone else who submits to the NG Audio Portal, is doing what they do for you guys, not so much for themselves. If you enjoy Children of Bodom, then enjoy my "Favorite-CoB-melodies-crammed-into-an-tec
hno-song" song. That's what it's made for.

My apologies for the mix-up.
