Neither do I. This is a political forum a name calling is not an option for me.... except I like to take pokes at D2K

The person responsible for 9/11 was not Saddam, but OBL, so why should the US start a campaign against Iraq right now?

One wonders whether or not a pre-emptive strike against OBL would have prevented 9/11?

Haven't you noticed that up until the fall of the twins noone gave a shit about the supressed Iraqi's?Even though Saddam deserves to die.

People gave a shit about suppressed people around the world in general, hence Amnesty International, but nothing does it like a little bit of American propaganda and a Republican president....

And yes, Saddam deserves to die...

Wait for it...

3) Iraqi people cheer on US troops all over Iraq

Probably not going to happen but here is hoping.

4) At least half of the Iraqi military surrenders

Could be possible, how big is Iraq's army again, because only 17 have surrender thus far...

And I will take back every bad thing I ever said about George Part II.

George Bush Jr, is still a war monger regardless of the fact I support war. I think Bush is finishing daddy's old grudge....

The weapons inspectors have had since 1991 to finish the job they started... still waiting!

What is the use of the UN when Bush can do what he damn well wants?

Well, in case you didn't already know, there are other problems in the world right now, albeit that most of them are not as important as the looming war on Iraq. There are humanitarian contributions that the UN makes to children living poverty (thus the orange UNICEF box that goes around during Halloween). As well, the United Nations Development Programme provides money for the creation of water wells, and electrical grids. There are many things the United Nations does; you just have to look past the ignorance. That is not to suggest that you are ignorant however.

Face it, the US is entirely out of line...

Not entirely...

and the only reason the other states followed the US in the UN is because they fear an embargo. The reason only those states spoke up was because their export and import is strong enough to handle the impact of a US embargo.

What about Canada then whose economy is solely dependant on the United States. Or perhaps you may have forgotten. This is not an unjust war... what is unjust is preventing Iraqi people from having the fullest lives possible. Let them taste democracy, and if they find it bitter or sour, then let them turn back to their old ways. But give the people a chance, because I like the taste of freedom which is the honey of democracy!

Aaah... the dying gasps... Posted March 19th, 2003 in Politics

As the deadline draws near, the last dying gasps of anti-war protesters can be heard from near and far. They claimed the moral and ethical high ground before understanding the real, potential threat that the “coalition of the willing” now seeks to destroy. D2KVirus prepares a final speech where his words will echo with hollow rhetoric, and the lackeys that listen will echo in response those same hollow words.

The time is now, Saddam will hopefully, soon be dead. Perhaps also, it will be revealed that France, Germany, and the thousands that fell in love with the droning of the anti-war song will be shown the weapons of mass-destruction. If I am wrong then so be it, but when the first SCUD hits Israel and spills it’s toxic contents, I will be both sad and happy…. For knowing I am right, and confirming the ignorance of the world.

NG Vote on Political Leaders... Posted March 19th, 2003 in Politics

Okay, just for my own knowledge, what are people's top three political leaders they would like to see spanked or given an enema?

1. Sassam Hussien
2. Pres. Bush
3. Jean Cretien

Response to: Time for a Vote! Posted March 19th, 2003 in Politics

No, and I hope not, cause when they find him.... it's enema time!!!

Response to: nuke iraq Posted March 19th, 2003 in Politics

Let's all get real here.

1. America can't just use her nukes.... it's called deterrence for a reason.

2. Iraqi civilians with guns most likely will take a few pot shots at soldiers if they get the chance.

3. Tactical nukes, however, could be fun.... ?

National Newspapers in Canada are:
National Post: Conservative
Globe and Mail: Liberal

Cheese eating surrender monkeys! Posted March 17th, 2003 in Politics

"Cheese eating surrender monkeys!" - Matt Groenig, I hope that they are happy. Now the United States has to go it alone with only a handful of countries. Don't people see that Western Appeasement didn't work for Hitler, and sure as hell won't work for Saddam!

How many Frenchmen does it take to defend France?
No one knows, they've never done it before.

Anyone think that we will see advertising on police cars all over North America?

Would you like that supersized?

Response to: NATO Posted February 13th, 2003 in Politics

NATO is useless if cannot defend her allies.

That's the whole point of NATO and alliances of the same sort... deterrence from other nations using force. That's the essence of NATO, and if it cannot a) deter or b) defend it's allies than it is useless and should be scrapped OR just kick out France and Germany.

Question of Iraq Posted February 13th, 2003 in Politics

Okay, I am tired of listening to those leftist tree hugging hippies crying for no war and arguing from ignorance! Get real real quick, if you want peace prepare for war cause that's the only way things really get done in this world.

You have France and Germany taking the moral high ground on an issue that is already dead. Iraq has been in material breach of Resolution S/RES/1441 since 1441 was adopted by the Security Council.

Face it, Saddam would love nothing better than to see America nuked and I for one (although I am Canadian) won't bear to see it. Americans are not STARTING a war! They are FINISHING a war on TERROR!

So if you leftist pussies think that Saddam would not put his mutual differences aside with Al-Queda to see America nuked than you are as dumb as dirt!

Go to war America, Canada, Italy, England, and hundreds of other countires are behind you 100% as the guardians of Peace, Freedom and Democracy!

Response to: America turning Communist? Posted February 13th, 2003 in Politics

It is highly doubtful that the United States is turning into a communist nation. The United States IS NOT turning into a communist nation.

Firstly, during the Great Depression, America did not turn into a communist country, so what would led to it now?

Secondly, the American ideal of Capitalism is so strong and the world is turning to Capitalism so quickly that it would be near impossible for the United States to go communist.

If you have ever read More's Utopia , then you would also know that achieveing the perfection that is communism is impossible and extremely unwanted. No one wants his or her house the same as everyone else in the city.

However, Anarachy, if lead by dissedent's could happen. But it is doubtful that it would last any longer than a day. The Republican system of government is very capable of regaining control.... and in America there are more than enough troops to quitely crush a rebellion.

America is staying the way she is for a long time, and it seems that the world just may conform to her and become mini United States....

A question of loyalty... Posted February 12th, 2003 in Politics

Is it true that all Americans hate Canadians? Do Americans find Canadians so dull and boring that they actually begin to hate "Canada"? Just a question I thought to throw out into the black hole... always wondered why Americans just never understood Canadians...

Response to: The end of religion? Posted February 12th, 2003 in Politics

I don't think that there ever will come a time when religion can be openly ridiculed. The essence of societies is based on religion. Laws and morality are based on religion such as, "Thou shall not kill" and so forth. It is doubtful that we will ever see the day when MEDIA picks up the torch and actually spreads some light on the subject. People will only be able to continue their attacks on religion from the shadows... and perosonally, that's how I like it. Opinions are opinions, and you yourself should not be ridculed for thinking differently from someone else.
