I just want to make clear: Nothing justifies killing innocent people, and I don't sympathize with Pekka's acts in Jokela High during Wednesday 11/7. I just believe that people should know the cold hard truth of bullying and isolation.
But if it's one thing I think is sad is that people don't see what Pekka himself went through.
People go all "God bless the victims and to hell with Pekka". But the thing is that people just don't understand how it is to be bullied. One who havn't been bullied hasn't felt the crude isolated darkness that comes after that, like a mail. It consumes you as a whole, as a person, as a thinker, as it also blackens your future and your self-esteem.
Pekka went through hell for nothing during a critical stage in his life: The mid-teens. That's when you put yourself to the test by trying out diffrent styles and see what fits you the best. For Pekka, the only thing that did fit him what this hard shell of darkness, as his bitterness overtook his lonelyness. Time went and he became more and more bitter, he lost faith in humanity by seeing that the big mouths get all the attention as the smart ones faded away. He saw no meaning in life at all.
*Sigh* People just fucking CAN'T THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX FOR A MOMENT.
That sickens me.
