welp, I as well think it'll be good to take a break for a while. anyway,
1. Felimbourg- I really liked the colouring, and I personally love Luxembourgs style.
2.re2larkatosa- It was good, Just wasn't my style. The organic foreground looks to different for me.
3. j-qFTW- Well, I'm not gonna put my own work as first.

So the problem is that i need video clip from that part (right?) and put it into photoshop/gimp etc, and then edit it n stuff.

But i cant find darn download-able video clip from anywhere, any tips where i could get one?

I'd try the animation forum, also i hate to say it, but use a search engine, shouldnt be that hard to find.

I think it's an improvement, although you might not want it so harsh, because it makes the cheek look not so shaded. alot better than I could handle in painter, though.

This actually looks pretty good. Don't get in the habit of filter raping your art though, it doesn't turn out good.

Something's off about it and I can't place my finger on exactly what it is.

Personally, I'd say the hair should be about shoulder length, but that's just my preference. I'd add some highlights to the hair, It looks... Off right now. Good work, though, I suck at digital and your making it look easy!

I'm not working in Photoshop, I'm working in Painter. There aren't any custome brushes in Painter as far as I know, but there are tons of brushes to choose from to begin with. I did have a sketch, but I didn't show it in this image because all it did was outline the painted areas.
The dark to light suggestion seems like a pretty good idea. Thanks for the tips, Vero.

I really like your more recent painting, has a really neat style to it. How do you get such smooth transitions from each color? Or to put it better, how do you blend it so well?

Your beyond hope. Stop doing "shiny" pokemon and your "this guy" thing. If you want to succeed in art, which I imagine you do, draw from life rather than cartoons. Don't get me wrong, cartoons are certainly a form of art, but it takes years to learn the basics of anatomy and such before you know how cartoons themselves work, so until then, draw from life.
