Got my student loan in the other week and I'm thinking of putting a few hundred to the side for some more ink work. Feeling like getting one of my existing ones extended instead of something new though.

Well, it's reached that time of year where we all have to make arrangements about which methods of intoxication we will be using to get us though the festive season. Anybody got any interesting ideas or plans? Personally I'm just going for the classic sitting in my garden smoking some good green and full of rum. O' the good times.

Personally I'm surprised that I've had the dedication to get to the level I am but I doubt I'll ever reach level 60, well hope.

Changed the snowman so that it's a custom gradient and pushed it further to the side so the person to the left of me has a little more to work with. What's your opinion now now? I know it's taken me some time to start this and for that I'm sorry but I have put something into a piece. Just showing how far I am at the moment. Going to draw a house in there next and then put some time into the details (obviously) and advice would be good. I'm aware it's not there yet.

I agree, I've always thought the fact that you can post stuff such as this on Newgrounds to be one of the main attractions. It's really only a bit of strong black comedy. Every nation tragedy, school shooting or dead celebrity should have the royal piss knocked out of them before they get the chance to go cold. It's like comic relief for the sick of humor.

I really hated the level 19 icon before the redesign. I couldn't wait to level up and be rid of it but then if I remember correctly it was the crowbar which looked like a rusty robot penis, bad times.

I'd say the same. At first I wasn't too happy that they were a lot smaller and more subtle in the forums but now I've got used to that I can appreciate the style. The shark has given me new ambition to gain experience too.

I've not watched Game of Thrones so I got the feeling that I was missing something with half the jokes in the latest episode but that's my fault I guess, The black friday stuff felt like it was lacking, a few more jokes shoehorned in there would have been good, maybe a reference to when Randy worked at Walmart. It wasn't a terrible episode but still far from their best in my eyes.

I had noticed that myself although I'm finding it hard to get it just right on Illustrator, not my best software.

I also like how the "War is hell" quote is placed in the open spot, but I think it lacks a real "punch" so to speak. I'm not a big fan of using Arial, I think you'd be better off choosing a grotesque with more character.

The idea behind the very basic, standard font choices in the Mars piece is a reflection on the same choices used on the British war posters so I'm reluctant to change that.

I'm also not liking the gradient and text in the background, it looks bland and boring to me. Perhaps you could make their size proportionate to how devastating they were?

Hmmm, I see where you are coming from about the gradient as it's my least favorite aspect of the piece but I'm not sure if I want to completely get rid of it. Maybe make it diagonal and have it going from black to grey as apposed to nearly white.

I know the quality of these picture is bad. They seem to have a file size over 1mb :(. Guessing it's because I'm using Illustrator, not my favourite software. Anyway here is some good quality links too:

For this one I placed positive quotes about ageing on the outside of the circle and then a more dark, cynical view point of ageing in the centre. I think I got the theme across well but feedback would be nice.
