But no, practice, lots of practice, shit tons of just drawing over a period of years, over and over and over again.
I'd prefer to do a digital card but I'd need to find a decent printer, maybe at school.
I could always do something with pencils but digital'd be much nicer looking.
Either way sign me up.

Tail?
You gonna add a background so like everyone's standing in a forest or in a cave or something??
I was actually thinking about a couple backgrounds today. Might sketch up a few tonight.
perhaps you could get someone else to make a background!
That's always a possibility, but i'd prefer this to be 110% my doing.
I'v also been thinking about putting people like Johnny Utah and Luis, big people in the art forum but not necessarily regulars.

Mr. Hammerhead
Instead of holding a hammer, have a head on a stick or something.
A little role reversal

You did the glow very well. The volcano seems a little puny though

Art costs money my friend, don't got the skill to do it yourself than you gotta pay up.
But I'm pretty sure pic makers thread is free.
Minor sketch update
Can you tell who's different?

Don't be, everyone knows that fat is the ultimate source of cool, but I guess you wouldn't know that, not living in the "jolly" ol U.S. See what I did there, with jolly? cause the U.S. has fat people?
but nah, I'm just messin' with ya
I'v been in a comic mood, though this one isn't very graphic...
Guessing this'll be completely unreadable so click the link.

Than I'd say that would not constitute a pencil drawing.
But that's my opinion
Give the puke at least an outline, it looks funky to have lines than no lines, for the chin, I think it can stay if you do 2 things, make it a similar color ti the green and than drip into different colors, and give it an outline.

While it is still sketchy, it is done in a very clean fashion, which is very pleasing to the eye. A heaping pile of thanks to you for including me in there, I really like the design and never thought of my username looking like that! XD
At first I was just going to draw a T-rex than figured That would be way to big, so for some reason I started drawing s hirt and just went with it.
I am giving far too many people generic striped shirt.
Finished product is going to be so incredibly badass, I think it will make for a killer desktop wallpaper when it's done, so keep at it my friend!
Yeah that's what I had originally though this out for, defiantely going to use it though, probably for a long time with how much work I'm doing with it. and Cloud brought up the poster idea, which would be friggen awesome but I don't think any one other than the regs would buy it, if even them. But it's fun as hell, especially at the expense of others :)
Hehe, jonny's still fat...
I'm really satisfied with the faces of the past 2 updates, Specifically JKA's TOAS's, and McJesus's
I just want to point out, that I draw these in their own files, than drag them into the group at any spot that's open, so if anyone looks particularly angry at anyone, looks surprised at a certain vacuum with a beard, or say, looks like they are about to chomp off your head, it is completely unintentional.
vacuum is a funny word.....Vacuum.

Technically he did not ask, but than again, what's the point of saying it? Saying you aren't hinting at it insinuates that you had the intention of possibly getting scouted from doing this.
TAKE THAT!
AFGS V.5
I'm waiting for this to get to the size that it's pretty much a stripe with colored blotches on it.
I have decided to name Snowman's top hat, long hat. Because I'm so fucking clever and it's easier to type than "Snowman's giant ever growing top hat of amazing, holding my treasure, coolness"

All threads in the art forum must start with a picture by using the "Include Picture" button, not just a link.

I know the two are vastly different, but something similar can be achieved, right?
Anyone have any suggestions? Brush/sensitivity settings and whatnot?
It's mostly that paper has texture, tablet's are smooth and pick up every movement you make. When I got my tablet my lines were very squiggly because I have a very unsteady hand, but just from practice, I'v gotten used to it. Quicker strokes also helps

I've actually seen that before, thanks for linking that, I will try to make it not exactly what you want.
And here I though stick page was for stick animation.
2 seconds on google, I didn't go into specifics but something must be there.
At 11/22/09 01:05 AM, KamikazePanda wrote: I liked the shoulders where they were though thanksverymuch! ha
I think the problem with the shoulders is that the shoulders say he's hunched over, but his neck says he is straight up. Very nice caricature though.
Heres one that i dont like at all really
Really, other than the body I really like this. You have a nice cartooney, caricature style.
At 11/22/09 12:59 AM, CloudEater wrote: Yea there isn't perspective is there. Reminds me of the robot things from star wars where the ewoks come and try to take down all the robots. What is a shrinkey-dink?
Shrikney-dinks are little pieces of plastic that you draw on, put in the oven, and they get small. The brainchild of God, who was than murdered by Einstein with said oven.
Family guy reference, hehehehehehehehehehe
It's fine to have your sig on there, but either put it in a corner or around the art, not over it, or make it transparent.
I don't think it's that the perspective is weird, but I think that there really isn't perspective like it's flat. Well I guess that would be weird.
It reminds me of a shrinkey-dink
