Have something, just not so detailed, have the background not so plain and it will blend in better,

Funnily enough i was thinking that myself, but at the same time without a few of the background images. "Film strip" etc.. it does make it look lifeless in the background.

I've took to mind all your opinions though I'll update later.

People in the flash forum have been saying the background is to cluttered. What does the art forum think?!

As I guess there are 2 different opinions.

Surely that would be annoying to the person playing the game.

Personaly i just believe this concept is used to much , and for a game like this to be pulled off needs immense graphics, which sadly these don't have.

Why does it look photoshopped.

Ouch if your using jpeg'd images in every level the overall file size if gonna be huge. I reccomend you cut it back to using maybe a LIGHT gradient or solid block colour as a background.

The project was "Create a site in Flash" , I forgot to point out that this is for a college project.

Dont really think you should submit Pivot onto newgrounds 90% gets blammed and the other 10% gets spammed on here so...... personaly dont bother.
