Yes, it's been done before. I've seen one.
I expect it to be extremely difficult to recreate it though.

You can tween certain views of geometrical objects around each other in flash to make them look 3D if that's what you mean.
Search the flash title "perspective tutorial" and look at some of the tutorials on it. You'll get the idea soon enough if you learn that.
I've got plenty of space and a decent processor + 2GB RAM. The main problem is just connection speed.
I've got a average of 1.8 mbps upload speed (from checking on upload tests around the net).
I was wondering how far I could go with that. Probably going to be doing a bit of multimedia streaming over the site too.
Don't start with Java. It's a great language, but not the best starting one.
Go with Actionscript if you want to make a game fast.
Go with C++ if you want to spend 50 years making an amazing game.
Sounds creative.
I'd like to contribute to this.
I'll be getting my computer back in about a week and then I can start working on a part.
Might have better luck in the flash forums buddy. Even there it might be hard though. Writers aren't given a ton of recognition most of the time here. Writing is seen mostly as a more common talent(not including professional writing).
only get CS3 if you're interested in gigantic flash coding applications and doing new things with actionscript beyond 2.0
besides that, CS3 is a bit of a scam.
It's decent.
woh ur soh smert can u mak a tutureeal on tis so i can b smert liek u n mayb no java skriapt???? tankz en adnvancedd! 11!!!!! (: : D : D xD : DDDD
draw a 4x5 square on a piece of paper and draw on it.
If it's to small to draw in, get a larger size.
Personally I think 4x5 is a bit to small, but it should work out ok for you.
use the chainsaw to cut a doorhole out and then leave.
I'd ignore the kitten.. unless I was feeling comical, I might cut it's bawls off or something.
Once my friend shoved pot up his ass and lit it on fire.
..
He burned to death that night... ;w;....
AND YOU SAY POT ISN'T BAD
I'm not sure if this should be in the flash forums or not.. but it is related to php more, so I'm posting here.
I'm looking for a tutorial on php-actionscript(or mysql-actionscript) communication to make a browser game. I don't know if it's even possible.. but I'm looking anyways.
Any tuts people?
Or is it even possible to make php communicate with AS?

Truth is, the main reason for me to be doing this, is the simple fact that I like doing it, nothing else.
what is the benefit of collecting post stamps... that's a big waste of time 2,
or living in general... because in the end u die... see what i mean,
creating stuff is very rewarding and it teaches u to value other peoples work and it learns u stuff, wich u can use in your carreer...
in comparison to collecting post stamps, doing flash games and animation is usefull, u can develop your self as a add designer and a webdesigner and all other sorts of stuff. wich can make money next to the dailly job... so making a game that is hard works and lots of practice sure isn't a waste of time, sorry if this isn't really on topic but i just needed to say that :p
not only that but think of the cash this could real in if it makes it big(hate to be the capitalist fag ;D ). I'm emailing you, I'm good with graphics I'd say, and I can animate decently well. With about a half month of practice I could probably get into the style you need for the game. (considering it could be totally different than what I'm used to).
I'll show you my work in the mail.
also, do you have an msn? aim even? .....yahoo..?
I think since you are into modeling, you'd be best off finding a programmer to work with you. You could make the graphics(or at least game models), and the programmer could code the game out for you.
the hell?
Why does it look exactly like the freewebs.com control panel?
Just dosen't seem very original to me.
I normally look at A if it's done well.
._.
I fixed the space problem but still my css is messed up every time I submit the form and refresh.
once again. Organization.
Apparently I've been doing a lot of bad coding techniques for the sake of organization D:
I'll fix it.
If you just want to make a poll I don't see the sense in learning PHP and SQL just to do somthing simple like that. You can get a free poll at pollverize.com for your site.
If you want to make it yourself and learn, just follow the link the andy sent.
I tried moving it above the html to see if that fixed anything and it didn't :/ It's back in the head now though.
Do you think it's the ad that's doing it or something?
