Yo, why don't you try this site? It's got all assortments of Fire Emblem goodies for everyone. If you have trouble finding the part pertaining to the menu's, it should be in the "Spriters Resourse - Online Tools/Sprite Archives" sections of the site. (also, nice work)

About the work I've done on mine, I have the intro done and I find it hard to work on it more for some reason. Gonna start right after posting this though (hopefully).

Unless you've tried spriting (and according to your profile, you haven't), maybe you should stop talking crap. It's a form of animation, and to someone like you, at least custom ones are.

This topic isn't even about sprites in the first place, so why don't we all stfu about that. Make a new topic if you care so much about it (Would get locked though). Frankly, I learned a bit from this topic.

Well, anyways, I didn't do crap with a collab part (occasionally thought of stuff but couldn't get on my boot and do them) until a few days ago. Trust me, when crunch time comes 'round, I get crunching... If that makes sense. Enough ranting to increase the size of my post, here's the part I worked on: AOS Opening twist!
Pretty much just the opening of Aria of Sorrows. Or is it?

Mario, you hacker, stop using that aimbot on CoD4. Hey S-F, can you tell me where you got those Metal Slug Sprites/.gifs?

Also, I have an idea, but it involves edited sprite nudity. Would I be allowed to do that (guessing not)? If not, I can use a screen filter to blur it out. Was planning on that anyways, but just checking.

I'm having a problem with this preloader I made. It's using the script from the tut in the tutorials collection, before you ask. Anyways, my problem is that after the heart loads all the way up, it starts over and loads to about 3/4 before it says play. I've tried everything I know, but it won't stop. Could someone please help me or give me some advice?

You give yourself far too much credit.

Decent =/= pretty damn good
Decent (in this case) = resembles somewhat what I'm trying to draw.

I'm not sure. I want a human body, if nothing else, but the rest just has to look right to me. Or at least close enough. Other than that, I'm going for style, i guess. Assymetrical is meh to me.

New pic. Yeah, I'm not to good with girl bodies. And since it's a full body shot, I didn't bother with the shading. Or erasing the guide lines. Still, constructive criticism appritiated!

It's a really stylized way of drawing, if you were intending realism, then yeah it's a bit off, but the style is something interesting in it's own, especially if you plan to animate that way..
Personally I say draw it how you want to draw, if you want to be realistic, then yeah look into anatomy and proportions a bit, but if you're just drawing casually or in your own style, then there are no restrictions or "right" ways to do it, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I like thick lined style

Well, thanks. Not really trying to use realism, but it doesn't hurt.

Well, I just reworked it, using some of the advice given to me. I think I might just have a knack for drawing things 2d-ish. =)
Also, you'll notice that the shirt isn't shaded this time. Maybe. I just decided to be lazy and not shade it.

And how's the new color of the outline (still a brown)?

Thanks for being blunt.

You look like youre drawing wit no guide layer underneath, just blobbing shapes out there without any idea how it'll turn out. Spend more ime on sketchy layers ten go over it all afterwards when you know exactly what lines are going where.

Good advice, thanks. Although no guide layers makes for a bit more of an "instinctive" drawing, imo.

Pick less horribly clashing colours, what's with that brown outline? Yuck.

It's kind of a style I've seen. The outline is either a really dark tone of the hair, or the skin, which ever you want. I chose the hair.

And damnit thin up your lines as well, why do you use a brush that thick? It doesn't help at all. Use thinner lines, spend more time, and practice.

The lines are thick because I put some pressure on the tablet to make them that thick. If anything, I'd rather have thick lines than lines that don't connect right, but I'll try sometime.

Also forgot to mention this in my first post, I'm also not looking for pity praise.

how about Surrealism? No significance to the time. Original looks better, but was a .png.

I still have a problem with half-second to forth-second button lag. If only the game didn't have lag, the game would be fair, and I could beat people as Olimar. Until then, I'll be sticking with people like Wario and Toon Link. Y'know. Medium-ish people.

Personally, I hate the tiers. I'm not gonna go into a rage-fest about them though, because I'm not that type of person. To those of you saying that Olimar can't attack without Pikmen, you haven't used every one of his moves. His strong (not smash) ground moves don't use Pikmen, nor does his neutral a combo and neutral A air. Not to mention how getting all 6 Pikmen only takes about 3/4 of a second. Ample time to do other shit during the rest of your invicibility frames (pertaining to when you get ressurected). Hell, I've gotten all 6 Pikmen and killed my sister before the invincibility wore off and a bob-omb ran into me.

Oh, that reminds me. If someone else is playing on my end, let me give you a tip as to who it might be.

Sister: Link, Toon Link, Pit, Ike, Marth, (rare) Metaknight, (rare) Zelda. Skills are somewhat mediocre compared to me.
Cousin: Any heavy character, Snake, Metaknight,Sonic, any character with a dark costume. Skills are pretty good, especially as Snake.
Sis's Boyfriend: Random. Skills are like mine, as he is at least descent with every character.

People I can't wait to play would be Afro, Matt, and a 1 vs. 1 with Rocker. I do want to play the rest of you, but these three are people that I really want to smash with.

Yes, an Olimar with half-second button lag and 2 Ike's. Very nice win...

Those matches today were fun.

Hell's yeah!

I was about to win that Meta-Knight, Kirby, Lucas battle if my internet hadn't taken a dive. Like how I strapped that gooey bomb on you right before you took off? Lol.

Don't really remember the details, but I probably laughed my ass off.

I just get all around lag. usually it's not too bad, but today I got some bad stuff. In about two weeks, it should get better for me. I'm switching to a room that's a LOT closer to my router, so hopefully that will solve that problem.

Maybe I should try that too.

Hey, is our rivalry over yet, or are we gonna get into more tiny arguments like the "Shadow as Playable Character or Assist Trophy" one? I guess that now that the game is out in the US, we have nothing to argue about. Just whose better.

But I thought you said you were going to pwn me with him????? To show me how powerful he is...You're not backing out now, are you????? MWAHAHAH!!!!!!

Hell no I'm not backing down. I suck as him in comparison to most other characters, but I'm at least decent. And also, I don't consider helping Lotus an uncredible excuse (meaning I believe you. I wasn't playing as Olimar at the time anyway.), but we still have to have our match sometime. If nothing else, it'll be fun.

You all must admit it, Olimar just can't cut it.

If he can't, then why is he in the game? He's hard to play, but an excellent and variable character none-the-less. He takes some time getting used to. Mainly, having to keep track of your Pikmen and pressing B when you run out. He makes the player have to be strategic. Maybe you just don't have that level of thinking. (not saying you're dumb or anything, but maybe you like simpler characters)

Also, I've learned something. When you want to do your normal A combo, you can just hold down the A button. Metaknight's is cheap, and for other characters, your first hit has to get the opponent to really do anything. Kinda funny as Zero Suit Samus though.

And one last thing. Can someone do me a favor? I've noticed that when you hit Petey Pirana in the head, both cages take equal damage. Could someone tell me what happens if you only hit him in the head? I can't get it.
