What is the purpose of a flash, I ask you? A flash has no purpose until the author decides what its purpose is. Some people choose their flash to convey messages and morals. Some, like Adam Philips, want to create a visually stunning animation. Others want theirs to piss people off before being blammed. Some others, and most people, make their flashes for entertainment and comedy. So why is it that people think that a flash is lesser to another if it still accomplishes its task? My animation, which was sprites and sound clips, has the same purpose as "Burnt Face Man" or "College University" So I ask you, if Phoenix Wrong animations set out to do the same thing, why are they considered lesser? There is time and effort put into both original ideas and sprite flashes. There have been both original flashes and sprite flashes put together in a few hours that are both equally as good. The point of Triple Take was to make people laugh and have fun with it. I didn't do it for the fame. You see, I am a horrible drawer. I suck at drawing so it would be pretty hard for me to create a flash that lives up to your shallow expectations. So I decided to try sprite animation. I didn't have to draw. I had a knack for syncing. So why not do it to the best of my abilities? In the end it accomplished its goal with flying colors. It made people laugh. That's all I wanted. Some people cannot accept the fact that people vote high on things they enjoy, and many people enjoyed this as much as I did making it. So I ask everyone who disses sprite animation and feels it's inferior, can't we all...just get along?
