i have some happy hardcore but most of it is old and sucks. you could try this one though. and cornandbeans has some good happy hardcore.

Flash player was acting up, no sound was coming through, and this happens now and then, so I just restarted my computer, and the sound came back, but when I opened firefox all my bookmarks had gone, all my links to handy sites here and there, tutorials, forums, everything, and I have to go hunt them all down again. It sucks...
But on the plus side, I can watch waterlollies now...

its a problem with your mozilla firefox profile. go to the mozilla help page and look for the info about profiles are whatever. theres a way to get them back. it happened to me too.

Teehee. That's what a cover is! Playing something someone already composed. Let me establish my question again, since it obviously didn't get across to you.

"Is it acceptable?" Apparently covers are not, according to the moderator I quoted. Mind you there is a difference between a direct "copy" of notes from one person's mind to another, and a musical evolution from one piece to your "cover." I'm wondering if it's all a matter of how similar the pieces are.
this has been stated over and over before. a cover is completely acceptable, as long as you give credit to the original author.
Two points to consider:

A) There is no mention of George Winston in the comments of the uploaded audio.

and B) This brings up a counter point to your argument about covers being acceptable:

answer to number A) george winston did not write carol of the bells. it is a classical song which means it has no copyright, similar to bach or other composers.

answer to B) those rules are old. check the date. if you roam around the ap, or pm rucklo asking him about it. he will agree with me. if everyone got banned for that, wed have no audio artists whatsoever.

I have no idea how we'd pack into one place though.

If anyone has ideas to add to this or wants to help out just reply to the thread!

I figured it might be a good idea, so I gave it a try :P.

you could put the samples of each genre into one folder. then zip up the folders and upload to rapidshare or something.

now everyone go watch THIS - yet another reason i hate the states with every fibre of my being..

you know, i really dont beleive in a lot of the conspiracy theories and stuff. and the tracking device, im not so sure about that. except the passports, cause i just got a passport and it says something about electronic devices. but the implantation i dont beleive a whole lot about on a mandatory national scale. but one thing i know is real is the north american union. me and my dad were talking about it the other day. and that pisses me off. many people in the e.u dont like it all that much, but in europe people go in and out of other countries all the time. so a common currency at least makes sense, and the borders all still up and effective. but if they were to take down borders with mexico and canada, i think thats bull. i think that national identity is something everyone needs to be able to hold onto. if you dont belong to a country and a culture, who are you? and who shares similarities with you? but contrary to what the video said. the north american union is not in effect. it doesent exist yet. but the leaders of the 3 nations are talking about it. just the idea of that makes me mad.

the mexicans just want it so they have an excuse to get into the u.s >:(
