You're so mature :) I really apriciate that :) Your honesty and good words about your fellow newgroundites (who could be anywhere ranging from 10 - 65) touch me. Really, they do. Now go back to your "highschool" (something long gone in my life, and not just because I graduated 5 years ago) with your "porn", mostly drawn little japanese girls with enormous eyes, and you "look-at-me-im-so-cool-I-can-buy-beer-in-l

HAHA

The more popular of the two is the one you don't care about :P.

Don't want to sound mean though, just start worrying if next week it's the same thing eh?

I know, but that's because most 13/14 year olds don't care about music that much (in general) and rather be drooling to something they can't make and probibly will never be able to create. Art is delicate and most no-brainers, not meaning you or trying to offend anyone, would rather waste their time watching movies. Hey, if that's your thing, ok. But never say the art of filming/drawing stand above music... 'Cause there's still more money being made in the music industry than in the movie industry. So where's my weekly update? :)!

Congratulations man! Finaly, after all those years... Your very first album :D I'm thrilled for you! I'm gonne get myself a copy of that very soon... right after my own CD is published... 3 more months now :)...

PS. Have you thought of giving Newgrounds some cd's to give out to the monthly winners? It's a win-win situation:

- You get publicity
- The winners of the monthly top 10 all get a free cd :)

Think about it :)

Techno-ish, yes. Drum&Bass, no sorry. ParagonX9 does NOT make "real" D&B. He makes D&B like any avarage DnB DJ on a random DnB-mix Cd. Seriously, I listened to a mix CD by DJ Shadow, and it sounded just like Paragon :| That discovery wasn't pleasant, since Paragon was always my main exapmle :( Shattered dreams man :P

Follow this up in the newbie newbie audio guide
i would just like to make a correction for my friend - Reason is NOT for beginners AT ALL - but fl studio is :D

Don't use software. Software in general is for beginners, INCLUDING Reason. Now, before you all start to send me hate mail, lemme explain:

Software ALWAYS has ALOT of restrictions, because of your computer's limitations and because of the fact that no computer programmer can be so smart to make a perfect program (Sidenote: Except my neighbour... He's holding a gun to mah head now :| ). Hardware however, has NO restrictions, but is kinda hard, because of the fact the you gotte find all your samples yourself, place yourself and sculpture yourself. Compare it with this:

Software - You get a piece of paper, with the outer lines of the image already drawn. And yes, you'll get your crayons ;)

Hardware - You get a piece of paper. The only restriction in the piece of paper and your own creativity :)

Hey chronamut, I have a suggestion :) Buy the VSTI pluggin called "Native Instruments 53". It's a software based synth with a hardware skin :) It's 100% adjustable, 200 mB and can be used to make AMAZING samples , including "raw" robo sounds :) Seriously, search google on the NI-53 and be amazed :)
