Since the NG Tank Awards are coming out on the 30th, I thought we'd have a competition , seeing as how the NG Tank Awards are the biggest NG Awards every year. Before anyone says anything, I'm not talking about the Flash Animation awards. I was just thinking about where to put this, and I decided on Newgrounds because this is the only forum I know of that actually can organize something this big. Anyway, time to get to what my topic actually is.

Well, I thought it would be fun, since the NG Tank Awards are coming out May 30th, that the Newgrounds community does something that is somewhat related to that. So, what I'm thinking of doing is holding a giant contest from around the internet to find the best of anything and everything, in one giant awards show, which I'm planning on animating when this whole thing is done and over with. The best part is that the nominees will be chosen by the Newgrounds community, and the winners will be decided by popular Newgrounds vote. Anyway, onto the categories of best of everything and anything.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I'm having. I'm doing a sprite animation. It's coming along well, but I've got a problem. I have a good background picked up, but I'm using paint to import sprites that I picked up off the internet. Problem is, the white background from paint shows up on the import, so I was wondering if there was any way to fix this problem without having to use the brush and line tools to take out the background. If you can help, that'd be great because it would really cut back on time, which I have very little of seeing as I'm a student in highschool. Thanks again for any help you can give me.

I tried dragging and dropping, I tried importaning it as a folder, but the problem is, Flash won't read the I-tunes format.

Ok, everyone just STFU about religion. Here's a quick rundown of all religions:

People come up with ideas of why they are here, what there purpose is, and what happens when they're gone. This is human nature. This is also the start of all religions. Budhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Muslum, Judism, and all Ancient Religions (such as those derived by the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptions), were created in order to explain the universe. Most of these religions were founded before we had a clear understanding of what stone was, or why when you put copper into a large flame, it melts. Thus, all reliogions are bullshit. I myself am catholic. I hold some of the Catholic beliefs close to me, because most of these things actually happened. In Judism, I'm sorry, but noone named moses picked up a stick, no matter how effected by God it was, and split a sea 500 miles long for more than a few miliseconds. Also, it is completely possible for someone to come back to life. It would take a supreme ammount of power, and probably longer than three days to do it, but it could still happen. Thus explains the resurection.

I'm half and half. One, I'm proud to be an American, because I live in one of the most powerful countries in the world, and I hope to be an influentail person. I also believe that we here in America are some of the most intelligent people in the planet. However, per capita, we are some of the dumbest people in the world. This is mostly because some people don't care about their education, because, in my opinion, they think that they don't have to go to college to make money to support a family. This is positively reinforced by the "American Dream" nonsense. Just because you try your hardest at one thing doesn't mean that you can breeze by school without caring, drop out at age sixteen, and hope to open up a repair shop. The people who on places like Jiffy Lube, Sears, and The Moxie Brothers (who are almost completely bankrupt by the way) had to go to college in order to learn the basics of buisiness. Nowadays, you almost must have a degree of some sort in order to be a highly succesful person in the united states. Even those with a GED do not have the most succesful careers. Usually, the end up working sub-standard jobs, and often times have to work a second job.
