Topic: Convert TO Midi ?

Posted: 04/27/08 05:00 PM

Forum: Audio

The truth is, there's no program that'll ever do the job as well as your ear. I suggest you try picking out songs by ear, it's a lot more fun, and if you stick to it, it'll only take a few weeks to become fairly fast. Trust me, it will aid your musicianship a lot.

Or you could just go easy and ask the author for it. :P

Topic: Flash = Hacking Software???

Posted: 03/01/08 11:46 AM

Forum: Flash

BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos, before the Russians lost the Cold War. It is based on a program called "xenix", which was written by Microsoft for the US government. These programs are used by hackers to break into other people's computer systems to steal credit card numbers. They may also be used to break into people's stereos to steal their music, using the "mp3" program. Torovoltos is a notorious hacker, responsible for writing many hacker programs, such as "telnet", which is used by hackers to connect to machines on the internet without using a telephone.

Your son may try to install "lunix" on your hard drive. If he is careful, you may not notice its presence, however, lunix is a capricious beast, and if handled incorrectly, your son may damage your computer, and even break it completely by deleting Windows, at which point you will have to have your computer repaired by a professional.

If you see the word "LILO" during your windows startup (just after you turn the machine on), your son has installed lunix. In order to get rid of it, you will have to send your computer back to the manufacturer, and have them fit a new hard drive. Lunix is extremely dangerous software, and cannot be removed without destroying part of your hard disk surface.

LOL

No, no, no. The computer takes your music and makes it sound. That's like saying Beethoven's piano (or harpsichord, w/e) made music, not hm.

I suggest you don't go with VB, it's a bad language over all, and it's gonna give you bad habits (or so I've heard). You should go with C/C++/C# instead, despite the slightly tougher learning curve.

Well, the problem's most likely your soundcard. If you don't feel like buying a new one, you could try ASIO4ALL and see if there's any improvement.

AI isn't something you can teach, it has to come from experience. There are ways to make life easier though, ofcourse.

This guy does a good job explaining a few ways to go about AI. It's not very advanced, but if you're just starting out, you should buy his books. They're actually damn good, especially if you like books that are a bit fun, not just all dry :)

There's the piano part. The chord progression is a 16 bar blues in F;

F7-F7-F7-F7
Bb7-Bb7-F7-F7
C7-Bb7-C7-Bb7
C7-Bb7-F7-F7

Want me to do the brass (well, I don't know the real english word for it XD) part as well?
