Get it, thanks for the feedback... nice gallery you have.

Response to: Which space-cruiser design is best? Posted January 7th, 2014 in Art

Well, if you felt hurted by that sentence I could be nothing else than proud at this point. I bet your textures beat mine, I don't make textures!

I've seen your gallery, and I told you just what I thought of your way of review... you don't claim to be the best, and nor I believe it of me. And, even if I may not like your work at all, I'll never permit myself to came and "teach you lessons"... so please consider to make the same, it will help you this time.

You can rant as much as your want, insulting people and their work is no way to help them, as it isn't praising them for all things they do... that's not a "crap excuse" but a matter of fact: my way of learning is practice, not scholar... make a reason of it.

And if talking to me is so disturbing to you, maybe you've just to turn around and ignore me like any other else who don't know me at all.

Good luck again and a delayed happy new year.

Look, you came here asking which of your "space crafts" people like best. So far they don't like both.

That being said, Like Kinsei, I am unimpressed with either designs. The first is barely distinguishable and the second is more of a silhouette than anything. You'd be better off putting both of them up without backgrounds and showing us only the crafts if you want actual critique. Preferably from closer up.

Well, that is a superficial analysis of things... the first one really look more like "a fist in the eye" with its green metal husk (and also my friend Kinsei said so), while the dark design of the second is functional to a camouflage tactic that make it even more dangerous to face.

And I'm not unsatisfied by the feedback of this thread, nor I'm searching "a pat on the back"... both images are scenic, and I agree they may not be really fitting with the question, so I was expecting that answers.

K, I'm sorry you're thinking this about me (and that's is quite offending)... perhaps we started with the wrong step, the matter is that no one ever helped me and I'm used to not search anyone help... I try, I fail, and I re-try, experimenting without following guidelines, because that's the way I'm used to work. But please avoid certain statement, surely they take off you from your "helping intention".

I see...
Well, my main concern was to get some more views...

The warmongher was still incomplete in that picture (and that was one of the first renders), while actually the SCSI is really built like a block to quote some classical space-ship designs.

At 1/4/14 07:54 PM, Escapement wrote: I'm going to address the reason there are a lack of responses for this thread. both images are poor in the respect of having to choose a favorite design. the first one is so small compared to the image that is looks like a block in space, the second has more form to it, but it is basically a black flat outline with the only dimensional space coming from the few violet pieces of glass.

I like your style, man.

You really seem you can't stand that someone could like our work that you, since beginning, evidently don't like at all.

Good luck to you too with your self-voting, friend.

At 1/4/14 08:35 PM, Kinsei wrote: I don't care much for either design. Both are so small they can't really be seen all that well.
The warmonger in particular is especially poor in presentation. The lack of lighting mixed with dark colors and design makes it impossible to see any real detail.

The other one, the Ai Confini dello Spazio, has a really gaudy color scheme with what looks like a gloss finish, giving it a really bad final look. And again the picture of the model is so small, we cannot see any detail to give it any sort of detailed critique.

I would advise uploading better lit models in higher resolution, or at least closer shots so we can actually see the designs.

But considering I have already tried to give you advice and help you out only to meet resistance, ignorance and belligerence. I'm not exactly sure why I'm still trying to help you out...

Good luck though, especially with all that up voting you must be doing on all your pics.

Response to: What will you play on Halloween? Posted November 4th, 2013 in Video Games

I've finished to play WitchaveN just few days before Halloween... too bad, it would have fit pretty well.

Response to: Worst game of the year Posted November 4th, 2013 in Video Games

Mmh, my personal opinion may result a bit unpopular by the moment I dislike the most of "popular" games...

But in fact, I think I could agree with you... I won't ever play either this or ride to hell.

Response to: Best PC game Posted November 4th, 2013 in Video Games

Honestly, apart of Dishonored, BioShock Infinite and the last Tomb Raider, there's few which I at least enjoyed to play recently...
So my personal favorite are quite old:

DOOM
Age of Wonders
Advent Rising
SoulBringer
Overlord

And WitchaveN, that hauted my memory until this year when I manage to find it (I was a child and I didn't remember its name)...

Want to see something new? Posted October 1st, 2013 in General

Hi to all!

My name is Massimiliano Ciullo and I've just join this community, hoping to gather new friends and supporters to our projects.

As co-founder of Ciullo Corporation I wish to make you aware of our work back in the "old" Italy.

I'm cooperating strictly with my brother Sebastiano to 3D modeling and animation with the goal to create a new line of 3D CG games and movies productions, and to get a chance of self-publish my own novels. Actually we have yet a quite-smooth running website (managed and translated by me, so please be patient with errors and delays) where we had exposed some of our projects, things we hope to bring also here as soon as possible.

But enough talking about me... any impressions? Someone who just want to chat (and help me homing there)?
