I use the Korg M1 LE. Or I use the cubase halion one stuff, its sexy!
This is a very nice VST :) completely free.

Either you need the background music without the vocals (to distract the vocals from the mixed track), or you can pretty much forget about it, sorry.
Yeah this, it's called reverse phasing or something like that :S Tis a messy subject
I spent a lot of time working on ableton. Tis a nice sequencer :)

Hmmm, well, I have $800 to spend at max.If I was you I would spend 200$ on the guitar and 600$ on your amp.A good amp is key to a good sound. As far as Guitar brands go, Gibson,Fender and some Schecter models are good.Amp brands, uh..Peavey?
Yes but also those models are expensive. Peavey is a nice amp to start with, I've got a Line 6 spider at the moment which is okay, very modern though. I've heard mesa boogie and vox are nice amps to get, you could always try a marshall!
There are tonnes of ways to do this.
I used to Mic up my amp, the Mic Would go to a mixer, and the mixer would go to my computer. This was a nice way to record if you wanted a more natural sound, a bit of air to fluff up the tone of the guitar.
I also used to run the amp directly from amp to the mixer, and mixer to computer.
But now since my 300 pound mixer has died, I just run my 'Line 6 Spider 3' directly to the computer. It gives a nice enough sound. You really need to work on EQ, and defining the sound though.
Oh and for your information Hendrix used a Fender Strat mainly. Other guitar brands that are famous with the blues - Gibson, PRS (Carlos Santana used one of these).
I saw the Black Keys live, and I think he used a Fender Telecaster.
Here's a good site anyway:

That's where your wrong. Anything to do with the guitars material (different woods make different sounds), the guitars shape, the pick ups, the type of strings, the thickness of the strings, the tuning e.t.c e.t.c e.t.c.
What's your budget?
I recommend if your a beginner, to start with a squire stratocaster. It's a cheap version of the Fender Strat, it's good to learn on, it's good quality, and it caters for most sounds!

Quite simply, shut-up. It's people like you who take the point away from the thread.
Back to the topic, I like to go back after quite a while and re-adjust certain faults in songs, mastering and eq'ing. It's a good way too, to suddenly create a remix out of the blue.
Sorry I failed to submit. I was too side tracked with the Represent a Country contest, and other side projects! Should have let you known sooner..

I had this problem once.
For me the problem was through my Realtek HD Audio Manager.
Try muting or switching off the stereo mix volume. (I think thats what it was)

Yeah, I like the material joy of having an artists full collection. You strive to keep albums in perfect condition too, keeping them from scratches and stuff.
It's like a hard copy really, something to fall back on.
An album to me is a complete work of art. From the artwork, to the overall feel of the album, Especially concept albums.
It sucks a bit that it's all moving to MP3, but albums will still live on.
Here I am listening to Skinny Puppy, I hope industrial starts making a big move soon.
You possibly have one of the most annoying myspace backgrounds ever!

Oh right. Yeah that brings me back. I remember posting a picture which is summed up by 'Tits, or GTFO'. But still that picture had more relevance than his picture.

The only real thing that i can think of needing help on now is figuring out the genre, cause I'm guessing it probably covers quite a few things. =3
I'd say it's near enough or borderline industrial, synth pop maybe? Good job dude, I left you a review! Good luck with the contest!
I like to rate and review based on production and musicality. Obviously if a song goes with my musical taste, it will get a very nice score indeed! I rarely vote low, only if it is pure dribble. But i'm usually a generous voter, and will provide a review if it's needed!
It's a shame though for people who get 0'd or low scored, and no explanation is given.
