There are many, one example is that if you use Cubase and Ableton, you can use the rewire feature.
I got to play about with someones nuendo once, and I remember hearing it's especially good for mastering. (Don't know how true that is)
At the end of the day though it's just personal perference.
Last night I had this dream where the bottom of my mouth snapped off in my hand, was in sheer panic. My mum (who is a nurse) was trying to glue it together but in the end we decided to drive to the hospital. In the car on the way I started regurjitating teeth and the teeth on the roof of my mouth started fall off....
Thank fuck I woke up from that..
It works really well, I have had to make a few sacrafices though. You can choose the amount of hours you think you would like to spend studying at the start but it's totally dependant on the course you want to do. I chose to do part time for my Honours degree and im due to complete it in 6 years (4 years if full time), i'm sure you can do even less but you have to weigh up the commitment.
Wondering if any of you are studying with the Open University? If so what are you studying?
I'm studying English Literature & Language at the moment (purely because I enjoy studying it), hopefully it will land me a job later on but I ain't fussed. Decided to study with the OU because I work full time..
Anyone else?

I opted to start with CDJ's to start with. Purely because of lack of space, i'm also thinking of starting to DJ out in clubs soon, I don't fancy lugging around vinyls :D
What's your opinion? Many Dj's opt for vinyl purely for the feel of it.
Did a Drum & Bass dj set recently! Would like some feedback on it if anyone can spare an hour or so :P

Aye! Same.
I'm starting to organise them like that a bit. Mainly I label my folders with sub genres i.e in the kick folder i have seperate folders for analogue, electronic, 808's...
You could do it by genre though? I've got a folder for movie clips/quotes/ragga jungle samples
As it builds i'll probably change the system.

Thats kind of a stupid question
It's a shame you can't order it off the internet...
Oh wait..
Something that's not too stressful, but not boring at the same time.
Maybe Morgue assistant for me

Keep trying new things.
I've taken a bit of a chill with music production at the moment, I'll still go on and work on a track every now and then. I never Finish them though. I bought some DJ decks recently so im into that at the moment, but i'm starting to get inspired to produce again.
Think i'm just gonna spend some time making drum loops and bass samples for a while instead of focusing on creating songs. Build the sample library up :D

Good design on that website of yours, too.
More clients under Clients will definitely help get more interested in the future.they'll be up soon :)
Good luck.
Meh. I thought about trying to take courses and stuff to try and make money come out of my music. But I felt like a whore doing it.
Not in it for the money.
Be my guest if you find anything you'd like to use. Give me a pm if you do decide to use any!

I'm not trying to advertise,
but here is a link of my song.
Can you PLEASE listen to it. See what you think. And tell me what genre YOU think it is.
I'm not advertising though
honest
The best tutorials are the ones that come with it. Try look around on there website, or on youtube. Apparently it's one of the hardest sequencers to use, but once you get used to it (tempted to say 'you just get used to it' here) it's a real good program. I mixed my 'After all we've been through' on ableton.
