I had a really bad panic attack after a weekend speed binge, went to hospital thinking I was having a heart attack. Lay on a bed for 4 hours, breathing into a paper bag and was given a few Valium.

I still didn't feel right for the next few days so I headed to the doctors, had a panic attack in the waiting room, wipped out the bag the hospital gave me and started breathing into it like Darth Vader. The doctor recommended I have some blood tests done to check my thyroid, which came back fine. The doctor also prescribed me Propranolol.

The Propranolol was great for a few days and went downhill after that. Waking up gasping for breath, feeling faint and nearly bursting blood vessels in my head because of the constipation. I stopped taking the medication after a few weeks.

The panic attacks have faded away but I still feel like they're lying in wait.

Try and get a hold of some Valium and you'll sleep like a fucking baby. I wouldn't take them on a regular basis though, they are a nightmare if you get addicted to them.
