I never had a real issue with the noise. Sometimes my PS2 got noisy, about as noisy as my 360. If it a real issue go back to cartrige system or get some headphones.

Putting that aside, they shouldn't make a slim until they fix the system they already have. One of the ups to making a slim though would be a better DVD drive (the push-in).

Im just wondering how many are planning on buying this. I mean, I like the idea of not needing the UMDs anymore, but I'd Im not sure I want to pay 250 dollars for a Compu- I mean gaming hand held.

Hard drives store data. In lamest terms, its like a really big memory card, capable of holding all kinds of data. Its really hard when owning a 360 not to have one.

Some people think the Wii needs one because it would allow developers to update and patch their games on the Wii. It would also be more convenient to expand your Wii's memory. What you CAN do is store data on SD cards, but theyre not nearly as big. The Wii is cheap for a reason.

Yeah, Supreme Commander was hard for me to get into, its really an eye candy game. Economy management felt really hard to get used to, and the units' purposes overlapped.

A few more things about SC2 before I leave(Ive done my homework on this stuff):
- Its singleplayer mode will be very different from multiplayer, and will give you choices in tech.
- It currently has more units than the original, and will have many old and new units in the map editor.
- It has 2 expansions planned.
- The Map Editor is awesome, it can change the game completely.
- Bnet is still free.
