There was a GC version of Majora's Mask? I got a limited edition Ocarina of Time with Wind Waker, was thinking at first there would be Majora's Mask along with it but turned out to be Ocarina Master Quest >_>

Bit of both.

Sometimes very conservative. But I try not to be, I find that when you try to save stuff for when you 'really' need them you never end up using them at all. Let loose and enjoy the game =]

Metroid Prime 2 is a good example. There's alot of people who didn't like the ammo system and would use the power beam unless it was absolutely necessary to use something else.
I really liked the game, because I wasn't afraid to use the limited weapons. (Also if you use them with strategy enemies spew out ammo like candy so it was unlikely to run out. AND when you were low you get more ammo than you would usually) >_>

Posted: 08/31/08 07:48 PM

Forum: Flash

Well, no not the middle >_>

Anyway, so your saying that the term was created within the script? That would make sense seeing as I was following a tutorial.

I'm also referring to a friends game to try and work things out. And everything that could mean it has 'graw' instead O____o (He is not the best at English so that explains that one)

So it could be possible that I could do without one entirely. I'll see what happens :P

Also, good idea about getting a book on the subject, thanks =]

if man was brought back to another different body with memory than man might either have evovlved into the far more supreme beings than we are now or a more definete possibility that we wouldn't exist now.

The two most common beliefs would be Heaven/Hell, or simply Death.

But to answer your questions:

Is it a place where u never get bored?

This isn't directly answered anywhere. I don't think anyone will feel ripped off when they get to Heaven. So it may be possible but I don't think it's likely.

I place where u could decide to move on back into the foul and cruel clutches of life?

No. Once you get to Heaven or Hell. That's it, no turning back.

Or do u get brought back to another body with no memory of your past?

This theory doesn't make any sense at all. If it were true then that would mean that some form of higher power or God would be behind it. And what would be the point of putting people into an infinite loop like that? There's no evidence of it and there's no logical reasoning behind it.

Hope that helped :P

One of the main problems with my movies is that the file size is unnecessarily big. I seen movies that go for over twenty minutes, with alot of detail and high audio quality, and the .swf still sits comfortably under 10mb.

Does anyone on the board have any advice on how this is achievable?

I've recently started experimenting in GarageBand, I plan to on the most part compose my own music for upcoming Flash movies. However I only seem to be able to throw tunes together using the supplied list of loops.

So my question is, is there anyway to create tracks entirely from scratch?

I would recommend a cell shading style when you come to creating the character in Flash.

Also you seem to have a very classical Super Hero, with the whole jump suit get up :P But if the character is based of sperm you could add a few more qualities of that rather than just a symbol and blob head. Possibly a more overall white colour, and massive gonads :P

I've seen a few Newgrounds submissions that have remained in the form of an swf, but are infact converted to pixels. In a way that an extremely complex movie will run perfectly in full screen. This would be perfect, but I have no clue how to go about it.

That's only .mov and .avi, but hopefully those will be ok.

Unfortunately no, avi won't be accepted at all, and when I try mov the audio gets thrown out of sync by over a minute.

It doesn't unnecessarily have to be mpg, I can keep the file swf if I have to, but I desirably need to find a way to display my Art Major work on a full screen without it becoming laggy.

Does anyone out there have any ideas whatsoever? This is worth over 50% of my final grade and just so happens to be due on Monday

If you ever have bought Adobe products you should know how notoriously slow they get as newer versions are released.

Case-and-point:: Illustrator 9 runs like a dream Illustrator CS3 takes atleast 5 mins to just start up .. its prettier sure but it runs like shit... especially when you are trying to work on a 3ftx5ft banner.

Are you sure? Every CS3 Program I've used starts up in around 3 seconds. Really it's insane how quick it is compared to the older versions

Posted: 08/11/07 06:50 PM

Forum: Flash

I'm currently making a flash for my Art major work and I've hit a few dead ends...

First I need to find a way to be able to convert the flash into a movie, basically so it can be blown up to full screen and will not lag. I also don't know how to up the audio quality.

I'm hoping that by converting the flash into a movie it will automatically fix this next problem, however there is no solution for the Newgrounds version of the flash:
Whenever I test an individual scene the sound is fine, perfectly in sync. However, when I watch the whole movie the audio seems to be thrown off slightly each time a new scene starts. It isn't heaps, but enough to be very noticeably out of sync.

I don't have any idea how to fix any of the above so I hope someone out there can give me the answer
