No one disputes that. Hell, I don't think whites are any worse than any other race. I simply think it's foolish to believe whites are somehow superior, as some people in this forum seem to believe.

Who? I've only seen commentary on the honest stats along racial lines, well besides maybe Onony

Response to: Gun Control Does Not Work (proof) Posted August 2nd, 2013 in Politics

When a gun is used in self defense it would have remained harmless if not for the aggression of another. It isn't really hypocritical. Guns are harmless alone and the person who uses a gun to commit crimes would have used something else anyway. Many civilian gun owners stop crimes without needing to discharge their weapon.

I don't see why you care though, if you don't have an issue with guns why do you have an issue with someone saying honestly the weapon alone is harmless but if I use it it can kill someone.

I don't see any denial, I only see people repeatedly pointing out the person is the real problem.

Hmmmm. Considering many of the biggest wars in history have been between countries which were predominately Christian this is far from true. Napoleonic wars, WWI, Mexican American war etc.

But those wars weren't based on religion.

Remove guns from civilians and the pool to steal from goes dry, therefore most criminals who wish to have guns lose thier only method of getting them.

Which is impossible and has been acknowledged by everyone realistic. And if anyone tried would be unconstitutional.

This is going into another topic entirely, I think. There's no way we can know how the laser and plasma weapons work or how durable they are, though iirc there was never any laser weapons in the vaults or in operation anchorage, so laser technology could possibly be a post-war invention.

In Fallout 1 the Brotherhood and Gun Runners were making them (before the Enclave existed?), and in Fallout 1 laser weapons were much more scarce, so presumably knowledge of how to make and maintain them spread to normal folk or at least weapon enthusiasts over the 200 game years. Again, the amount of weapons in the game is going to be heavily exaggerated beyond realism because it's a game.

In Fallout 2 the player is told that this laser pistol could be bought by civilians before the great war. The Wattz 1000 laser pistol is a civilian model.

The YK32 Pulse Pistol is an electrical pulse weapon that was developed by the Yuma Flats Energy Consortium. Though powerful, the YK32 was never considered a practical weapon due to its inefficient energy usage and bulky design.

L30 Gatling laser
Designed specifically for military use, the L30 was in prototype stage at the beginning of the Sino-American War. Capable of firing only in burst and a low energy capacity, it was eventually superseded by the more advanced full auto Gatling.

Laser and plasma weapons were available pre-war.

Mass shootings are just such a non issue in comparison to the constant stream of crimes though. We can agree on that right?

This is legitimately one of the few post in here that had any logical merit to it,

That said, whenever the person in question feels ready to have sex, they're ready. Fuck your shitty kneejerk protective reactions. The world's a tough place and coddling out of fear and moral disgust only makes things alot worse, IMO.

regardless 13 year olds aren't ready to raise children, and if they are in a situation where they are having sex at that age they are usually not using protection.

Fallout 1 energy weapons are sold by the gun runners (presumably made by them since they sell whatever they make) In Fallout 1 are working on their own laser weapons and have access to laser miniguns.

Fallout 2 is set further in the future and the Enclave is most likely only responsible for arming the Salvatore's.
Fallout 2 has advanced settlements like Vault City and San Fran, with rising powers like NCR.

New Vegas still has NCR as an even bigger player in this game.

Don't ignore the presence of the East Coast brotherhood either.

Ok to clear some things up Fallout does NOT use our scientific laws as we now know them. It is more like they took the "knowledge" we had in the 50s and applied it to the future. (Radiation creating all sorts of mutants, Radioactivity persisting for hundreds of years, etc.

Additionally you can find a 1918 pistol that was actually made in 1918 and it is still plenty usable, it is all about maintenance. In Fallout 1 they even have a guy who loads empty shell casings for a living.

Now then for the robots, they are powered by micro fusion technology.
