What it actually said in the original piece that many racists tend to be conservative. And that exceptions exist regardless.

It's mainly because that kind of car spawns in that area, so when you finally find it you see 5 others.

We've gone over the inability of the American military in any scenario to actually beat a large organized American resistance. And we factored in the fact that not every service member would turn on the people. And that conducting military operations in the U.S. would require local support.
The term well regulated for example had a vastly different use back then. and Arms are easily defined and those that have been seen as overly dangerous or unusual are already regulated.
5.56mm rounds are more likely to wound rather than kill as is the goal of the modern military rifle.
Animal attacks still occur plenty, I'm not sure where you live but anywhere with actual woods have possible coyotes or other possible pests to deal with. Hell even the reintroduction of the wolf populations has caused some problems.
